ON THE FARM | M MISSONI

This is how I define a perfect weekend. The dreamy English countryside. Nubby fair isle sweaters. Horseback riding. Cow printed wellies. Hot toddies. Picking up fresh flowers on my bike. This is by far the chicest part of Oxfordshire, England and I’m so happy I got to spend it with M Missoni, shooting their Winter ’17 collection, pieces that will work well into 2018 and beyond. A collection that is meant to be layered with a serious mix of prints in the warmest of colors that blended seamlessly with our surroundings of open meadows and gardens. I can always spot an M Missoni print from a mile away, they’re iconic and timeless. I didn’t pack much else. As a NYC girl, I spent as much time during my day breathing in the clean country air as nights were spent in with a glass of wine and really, long hot bath in our beautiful classically English cottage. Now that is weekend perfection. Simple.

THE CORSET DRESS | LONDON

The shape of this Ellery dress is like a work of art. An exaggerated waistline, beautiful puffy sleeve, and flouncy skirt. I’m in love with this feminine, corset-like cut. It creates a delicate, beautiful shape of the female body, just seeing it hanging on a hanger. I’ve never seen anything like it! Here I am taking it for a walk in Notting Hill, London. The only way to survive the breezy London air, is to always pair your dress over a pair of trousers. Key to traveling abroad come December? Layer, layer, layer and experiment. Voila. Another epic work week in London accomplished, with a whole lot of killer looks to go with it. You may be wondering where in the world I am now, but I’m completely de-layered for a month back home in sunny Los Angeles. I’ve been in town for a new campaign, and of course shooting and editing loads that will go live before the New Year. Team Suarez has either been stuck in the studio or tied up in Lightroom wrapping up some last-minute holiday projects. It’s almost, ALMOST time for me to unplug for one summer-y Christmas in LA. Until then, this girl is in the zone.

TO COLD SPRING IN THE AUDI RS3

As a New Yorker, it’s so important to get out of the city, and drive. I’m an LA girl, born and raised…we love being behind the wheel. It’s that freedom of being able to cruise, escape the chaos, and breath in the fresh country air. Having a car in the the city is the ultimate luxury. Meet the new Audi RS3, isn’t it a beauty? This baby just launched in the US for the first time. My absolute dream car. It has just the right amount of space for packing in my friends, just enough room for luggage, and still feels sporty and super chic. This car can really fly, literally going from 0-60 in literally 3.9 second! I love the way the engine roars when I press the Start button…Audi always makes me feel like I’m in a race car. Here, I did one night in Cold Spring, in upstate New York with my sister. We were ready for farm-to-table dishes, a spa day at our favorite apothecary, and a few moments to just soak in the gorgeous views. Like they always say, “the road is better than the inn.” So here are a few of my favorite snapshots along the way.
