GUCCI GIRLS IN SAN FRANCISCO | SUAREZ SISTERS

// on me: Gucci dress, Louis Vuitton bag, Reike Nen shoes (similar). on Dylana: Gucci dress (similar), Chanel bag, Malone Soulier heels (similar) //

Gucci girls. I miss our San Francisco adventures from fall. We were in town for our Ritz-Carlton project and we found it absolutely fabulous that the hotel is located right next to Chinatown, a place that always feels like home. We dressed up in complimenting Gucci looks for a classy afternoon tea at The Ritz-Carlton with our family before making our way through the bustling San Francisco streets. The sky was blue. The sun was out. Our outfits popped. San Francisco will always remind me of classic rock n’ roll and I really think these outfits are Jimi Hendrix approved. He definitely would have appreciated a little leopard love.

SUPER SOFT LAYERS THIS NYFW

Coat: The Kooples. Top: Gucci from NET-A-PORTER. Pant: Rebecca Taylor. Bag: Ferragamo from Monnier Freres. Earrings: Moya.

This was actually shot on the very last day of NYFW. I was too tired to wear my boots and heels anymore, that I slipped into my all-time favorite sneaker by Bally. I opted for everything oversize, because I was ready to dash in and out of shows under my umbrella in total comfort. My The Kooples coat felt more like a blanket yet this Gucci blouse from NET-A-PORTER made me front row ready in about two seconds. This NYFW flew by. Team Suarez and I shot a lot of amazing campaigns all while making it to 9am show call times and late dance night parties in Brooklyn. Even with all the fun, I was so ready for a good, long facial and massage come the day after. This FW I kept things cool and classic. Loads of trousers, great statement coats, and even more statement bags like this Ferragamo beauty I snagged on Monnier Freres. I have never felt more organized and relaxed during fashion week. I guess I am now a seasoned veteran that it suddenly feels easy peasy from getting my schedule finalized to making the time to get dressed and support some of my absolute favorite designers. I’m so happy to take you through some of my favorite moments in the next couple of posts.

GUCCI: GIFTS FOR HER

Sponsored by Gucci and Shopstyle

It’s here. My favorite gift guide ever. And it is all Gucci. When I’m shopping for my loved ones, I’m looking for pieces that transcend the ordinary. Items that feel special and personal. Gucci is where you can lust and be inspired. The world of Gucci has something for everyone with a love for art and design. Let’s start with the Gucci “Gifts for Her.”  The ladies in my life are eclectic. They love color. They’re classic and timeless. They love adding a little extra luxury to their everyday whether it be in a shoe or a bracelet. During the holidays, a little sparkle and shine goes a long way and it’s all in the accessories. Gorgeous David-Bowie-esque sunglasses. Crystal sneakers and pumps. Velvet slippers. The vintage-inspired belt bag. Each piece feels like it is out of a fairytale with a unique play on texture and colors. I am loving how Gucci is currently playing up their embellishment in the shapes of butterflies, bows, and hearts, giving each gift a little extra personality and love. I’m so excited for my loved ones to open their Gucci paradise under the tree.

GUCCI X IGNASI MONREAL

Sponsored by Gucci + ShopStyle

Gucci has partnered up with Spanish illustrator, Ignasi Monreal, taking the House motifs and making it completely his own. Ignasi Monreal uses digital painting tools to bring pop culture to ironic portraits, creating a true conversation piece printed on my two favorite Gucci essentials, the tee and sweatshirt. How cute is this cat in a teacup?! I actually have a friend with the exact same fluffy cat, and it’s name is “Gucci.” A truly glamorous Upper West Side cat that loves the luxurious life. I’m so excited that Dylana and I were asked to bring this super fun and wearable collection to life, and during the best time…December in sunny Los Angeles, where the weather is just fine enough to rock a tee-shirt. Dylana and I hit the streets of Venice Beach, our birthplace, and also the original birthplace of both hot pink, and the fanny pack. All that’s missing are my rollerblades and headphones as I cruise past Muscle Beach.
