Emilio Pucci Monochromes
The Emilio Pucci Pucci Monochromes collection is here! I am taking my color, MENTA 269, and going wild with the paintbrush. This bold, solid color is filled with the Pucci spirit. I always start my mornings with one or two cups of coffee! No matter where I am in the world, I love slow mornings as I have my first cup… the aroma filling my kitchen and awakening my senses. My love for coffee began with my mother. When I was child, I would always prepare her cups of coffee throughout the day…brewing it up and topping it off with a delicious creamer. The smell always warms my heart. As I’ve grown up, my love for coffee grows more and more as I discover its art. And now, I have this ultra luxurious coffee maker, the illy X1 Anniversary machine in Black. I fell in love with it just by looking at it. It’s iconic and classic design is super chic. It looks stunning in my kitchen at home, and perfectly contrasts against the reds and whites of my decor. It’s a super special multi-beverage machine. I can prepare espresso, cappuccinos, coffee, and lattes with ease. The delicious espresso I normally only get when I’m in Italy, I now make daily at home. illy’s Master Barista, Giorgio Milos, came over to my abode to teach me all the ins, outs, and tricks to making a delicious cup of joe.
I spend a ton of time at my home workspace when I’m actually in town. I tend to travel every other week, so when I am back home, getting work done, I like my space to be minimal, eclectic, and extra cozy. My desktop was in need of it’s own separate space…and for me, with my camera equipment and mood boards, I needed a big desk. A big desk for me to sketch, to write, to really zone in on my work and my editing. I immediately went to Joybird because of their sleek, vintage-inspired design. Modern Mid-Century is an ongoing theme in my home. My Dumbo, Brooklyn home is super lofty, so I like to keep it’s raw, industrial feel. Wood with metal accents, and little pops of bold color. This beautiful Shelter Island, NY abode is home to interior designer, Jonathan Adler. The moment I walked through the bold orange front door, I immediately stopped and gasped. Once you soak in the gorgeous and eclectic decor, you’ll notice it’s floor-to-ceiling glass windows, looking out to it’s own private beach. Talk about breathtaking. This interior designer really knows how to make a statement.
