THE FEARLESS DRAMATIC SIDE HIP

Now this a side cut-out design to talk about. It’s new, elevated, and super sexy. And yes, you can still wear undies with it thank goodness! Mulberry England sure knows how to va-va-voom up a simple ribbed maroon dress. This was shot back in Cannes. I’ve spent quite some time in the South of France this summer and it’s been divine. I know exactly what to pack in about 10 minutes. My travel go-to’s have easily become giant earrings, slip-on dresses, and a good mule sandal. Forget the curling iron, and put your hair in a messy bun. That’s the beauty of summer. With the heat and the sun, you sort of become forced to be comfortable in your own skin. You suddenly want to whip out that mini skirt and bare backed tank, without anything holding your confidence back. There’s one word to describe how I feel in this dress and that is: fearless.

This year so far has been insane and sometimes I have to stop and pinch myself and think “is this real life?” A lot of what I do from traveling, meeting new people constantly, finding inspiration, and coming up with new ideas really comes from finding that fearlessness inside of me. That ability to say, “I can do this.” I think a lot of success and happiness comes from within… being secure in your own skin. It’s okay to get a little crazy and it’s okay to let your freak flag fly. I do it all the time. My latest trip to Singapore proved just that. I met a group of absolutely wonderful people and made amazing new friends. Together we laughed uncontrollably and joked at the stupidest things, and that’s what I’ll remember most (besides the delicious food of course). I was so jet lagged I nearly face planted into my food, but I didn’t care if anyone judged me. We had FUN. It’s important to let loose, drop all judgements, and have fun in an industry that sometimes feels so serious. I’ve learned everything in life comes easier when you just don’t sweat the small stuff and live a little. So I guess today’s word is fearless. Fearless in your own skin. I’m already thinking up a time I can whip out this dramatic side hip at the next party because it’s just sooooo fire.

A POP OF PINK IN LA CONDESA | Mexico City

My grandfather is from Mexico City and I’ve always dreamt of finally visiting and being in touch with my father’s culture. This is a large city with so much history and of course, so many people! I have never walked so much in my entire life. Flat leather sandals were my best friend this trip. Traveling a city by foot is truly special. I stopped at just about every candy colored wall and snacked at just about every single taco stand when I had the chance. My tastebuds were going wild for everything sweet and spicy. A friend did recommend taking a quick break for a cool drink at Hotel Condesa DF. This adorable boutique hotel felt a lot more like a sunny hot spot off Sunset Blvd in Hollywood more than anywhere else. Think teal green walls and cow-printed seats. My love for spaces and architecture and interior design is growing the more I travel. I’m currently craving the hotel’s green lush covered walls complete with a beautiful sun roof. A girl can dream. La Condesa is one of the most fashionable and beautiful neighborhoods of the city. I went with dramatically bold colors and silhouettes. Even with the heat, it’s possible. Voluminous sleeves and a skirt with loads of movement is always the way to go. I think Mexico City doesn’t get the credit it deserves. It’s history and culture and love for food and music transcends so many places I’ve been to.

INSIDE PALAIS AWAY X GREY GOOSE AT CANNES FILM FESTIVAL

I am so excited to officially give you an inside scoop inside the gorgeous Palais Away x Grey Goose villa at Cannes Film Festival. This charming estate just oozed classic French sophistication with it’s gorgeous pale blue shutters and green vines, sitting perfectly on the side of a hill. From the pool, you can see more stunning villas below alongside the town, with nothing but the ocean ahead. I would say it’s the dream vacation home.

I have always wanted to spend some time in the south of France during the film festival and thanks to the dream teams at Away and Grey Goose, all was made possible….complete with a full and detailed itinerary in Cannes, the adorable town Antibes, and a quick boat ride to the Isle de Marguerite. Each adventure was always followed by a a delicious menu (and new cocktail recipe) to look forward to. My tastebuds certainly went wild this trip with refreshing lemon and lavender accents in my signature Grey Goose cocktails.

With the daily celebrations, I made sure to pack my beautiful Away luggage (I now have a travel set in “sand”), with loads of silk dresses, feminine mules, and pops of metallic. I slipped in a few gowns as well…a girl has to be prepared. Cannes becomes a red carpet with embellished ballgowns and black ties sashaying through every street and restaurant. It’s only fitting to whip our your best heels and your flash camera because you never know who might run into or where you will end up. It all felt too much like a movie to be real. I fully indulged in my surroundings by simply savoring the town’s very fresh ingredients to spending those extra moments sunbathing by the pool house. How do the tomatoes, cheese, bread, and butter (the list goes on!) taste so much better in France than they do here at home?

I got to share this once-in-a-lifetime experience with a handful of like-minded individuals with a passion for insane travel, refreshing spirits, and of course, a dash luxury. Take a peek inside our stunning abode.

THE DRESS AND THE VILLA – CANNES FILM FESTIVAL

I am still pinching myself after Cannes Film Festival. The south of France is truly magical. It’s a place I want to revisit and continue exploring. Endless beaches. Gorgeous little towns. Delicious, fresh food you can’t get anywhere else. I will be rolling out many stories with you from my Cannes getaway with Away and Grey Goose within the next few weeks, but I thought I’d share a little quick sneak peek at our stunning villa: Palais Away. Our villa was perched up high in the hills, with insane views of the ocean and the town below, glittering in the night. I found myself thoroughly enjoying the fresh air and buzz of the bees every single morning. I can only imagine how calm and quiet the town must be outside the film festival. Right now, Cannes has instantly been transformed into a Hollywood red carpet. Imagine going from hotel to hotel where everyone is sporting a black tie and dazzling, sparkling gowns. The more glamorous, the better. The gowns I wore were all super special to me and designed by one of my very best friends. Take a peek at this romantic number. A super low back, a full skirt, and sexy scarf hanging down the back. This is a shape that really accentuates the female body, making it swoon-worthy from every single angle and with every turn. It has a vintage touch thanks to the luxurious fabric and beautiful off-white color. It’s a dress that I want to keep in my closet forever and forever, just for the memories and stories behind it. Here I am in a  little hidden spot in the front of the villa. With spring, the property was in full bloom. There was so much green! I felt like I was living out a novel. had officially found my own secret garden.
