STYLE AND SUBSTANCE | VITAMIN A SWIM

I have worn Vitamin A Swim for years. Their classic neutra bralette top and hipster bottom is what me got me hooked. I have this triangle bikini in almost every single color. Nothing else fit my body like this amazing eco-luxe suit does! What do I mean by eco-luxe?  The eco-luxe suits are made of superfine matte jersey with superior stretch, made in California with RECYCLED nylon fiber. The incredible fit comes largely from the amazing fabric and graphic silhouette. How amazing is it that now we can have everything down to our swimsuits be eco-friendly and sustainable? Vitamin A is super cautious on how we can preserve our planet and go green. I swear the Neutral eco-luxe suits looks incredible on just about every body type. Here in Nicaragua, at the Aqua Wellness Resort, it reminded me why we should be conscious of our planet in the first place. So much of Nicaragua feels untouched from the beautiful secret bays to the monkeys and birds that lived by our treehouses. It’s what makes the country special. I feel gratitude knowing that more and more people are becoming involved. Our beautiful planet is delicate so let’s take better care of it even if that means starting in a small way. Maybe that means using less water by taking shorter showers. Maybe it means remembering to turn off the bathroom lights when you’re not in it and cutting down on electricity. Maybe it means having a recycling bin in your house so you just don’t forget. If that doesn’t feel like a luxury, know that making a change will in the long run. Through the years I’ve become more caring simply by adding a little thought that go into my normal everyday actions and saying no to waste. Start small and get yourself one of these eco-luxe bikinis. You’ll thank me later.

BEHIND THE SCENES IN LONDON WITH ARMANI BEAUTY FACE FABRIC

I was just in London with the Armani Beauty team for the launch of Armani Beauty’s Face Fabric foundation. This mousse-like nude foundation is completely weightless. I love when my makeup doesn’t feel like makeup. Shade 2 is the perfect fit for me…as are these Emporio Armani jeans. Our studio for the Face Fabric shoot was amazing. Talk about one killer set in the middle of Shoreditch, London. Everything was larger than life….from the Face Fabric customized bottles (they were even taller than me!) and foundation sponges that also doubled as pillows. It was like stepping into my very own vanity. A true makeup playground. The Face Fabric foundation is beautiful, clean, and simple. Like I said, it’s so soft and light, that the closest thing I can describe it to is a mousse-like foundation. The  texture is made to be applied with your fingers. For the shoot, I went with my best blue jeans and an oversize white shirt with a classic Emporio Armani stiletto. My makeup was extra fresh. It’s all about showing off smooth, healthy, even skin. I had a soft bronze smoky eye and an orange/red lip. I now keep the Armani Beauty Face Fabric foundation in my bag at all times, especially when I travel. I just got back to NYC from Nicaragua and it’s all I wore on the beach and everywhere in between. It’s amazing for my skin. Face Fabric comes in 12 different shades so you’re bound to find the perfect fit!

As for when I as off set and off duty, I spent my days at the Rosewood Hotel. Dylana and I had the most beautiful suite, making the most of our bubbling hot tub and delicious breakfasts in bed! And you may have noticed this vanity…just as amazing as studio light. It’s the most epic spot to find your perfect shade. Besides thoroughly enjoying our lovely hotel, I made sure to eat my way through most of Central London. Think late night dinners with the team for fish and chips at Sketch in Mayfair and a classic English high tea over at the stunning Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge. The fashion version of course…we literally ate cookies the shape of Armani trench coats. Having my base at The Rosewood was a dream. Until next time Armani Beauty! OUTSIDE THE ZIMMERMANN SHOW | NYFW

I am currently writing from the airport in Nicaragua of all places! In February alone, I was in London, LA, Colorado, Milan, Ohio, and Paris, before heading back to NYC. It took me a second to even remember and look back in time. Life has been such a whirlwind lately with work, but I’m really enjoying every second of it. With every city, I’ve gotten to play a new character, working with the designers I know and love. But with the never-ending winter, I thought now would be the perfect time to escape the cold to one of my favorite surf destinations, the beaches of Nicaragua. Limited wifi and loads of sun. Just what I needed for a full week far from home! I’m ready to have sandy toes and smell of sunscreen. It always warms my heart! Here I am shot just after landing in NYC for fashion week from LA just in time for the early morning Zimmermann show. Hosted at Spring Studios, it was a beautiful production of floral floors and seats, as the models dramatically walked down the runway in western-victorian-esque dresses. In support of one of my favorite designers, I slipped into this stunning off-shoulder Zimmermann midi-dress despite the 30 degree breeze. I’ll have to shoot this stunner of a piece again on it’s own once the weather gets nice again. It’s timeless, a piece I’ll keep forever and ever.

10 HOURS OF FASHION WITH LELA ROSE | NYFW

This was certainly your most liked and commented look from NYFW. Therefore, I think it’s worth sharing a bit more insight behind it’s story. Lela Rose did something completely different this fashion week, showcasing “10 hours of fashion” purely on social media. Each look rolling out one by one each hour on Instagram with a major bang followed by a delicious dinner with the team at Lela Rose’s stunning Tribeca home. I’m lucky enough to be one of the faces behind the campaign. I was ecstatic with your hundreds of positive messages and comments. How incredible is this smoky grey windowpane check jumpsuit with matching cocoon coat?! Lela Rose Fall ’18 is one again whimsical but with a very strong sense of self. Think tailored peplum suits and tweed capes that are always the sophisticated, uptown NYC girl. This beautiful grey look felt very me. So elongating, elegant, with a touch of masculine femininity. This has by far been a street style favorite of mine this season. It’s amazing how something so simple as one print can make a real statement. Thank you for the constant love and support. This fashion month started off on the most positive note!
