You still have until November 30th to enter my Sandro Paris giveaway! Be sure to enter here. I have teamed up with the Sandro Paris team to giveaway a full look. Yep, we’re talking head to toe. The bag, shoes, everything! Are you excited? This beautiful tweed is a power look and instantly gives a little oomph to a gloomy day. Good luck my loves!
I have recently rediscovered my love for dance. With all the evenings spent inside, I naturally began a nightly routine where I throw on a pair of stockings, blast some music, and start to freestyle, twisting and turning in my living room. I grew up taking lessons. Jazz, hip-hop, ballet, you name it. It was through dance that I really first able to express myself, and that love really just came back, completely out of the blue. I guess what lives inside of you, never really goes away. I now feel more reconnected with my body than ever before. This look is inspired by the little ballerinas inside of us. It started with these pastel Malone Souliers shoes. I was inspired by their softness and femininity. I will be so ready to make NYC my dance floor when the time comes.
I’ve worn these silver leather pants with everything. They’re a new item from my Sandro Paris family and I fell in love with them their Mick Jagger-ness instantly. At Coachella, I let them do all the talking with just a cropped blouse and my reliable Nike Cortez sneakers. I even wear them under dresses for a little unexpected pop of shiny metal.
I’m finally onto the last day of PFW, and it’s certainly time to keep things a bit more simple before boarding my next flight. A clean, fresh striped shirt… jeans that hug in all the right places…and amazing suede booties. But something’s missing. Yes, a beret. A French staple. This past winter I’ve traded in my Russian hats and fluffy beanies for a classic beret. Easy, and oh, so chic. The key to Parisian style is making jeans, a beret, and shirt feel elegant. Especially for lunch at the extra elegant hotel, The Peninsula. But it wasn’t before long I hit the Parisian streets only to get stuck in the rain, without a map. I had to stop a Parisian to ask where on Earth I can turn to walk to the Tour de Eiffel. He showed me where, and recommended to take a second route…”the chic side of the street.” Perfect.
