Gucci girls. I miss our San Francisco adventures from fall. We were in town for our Ritz-Carlton project and we found it absolutely fabulous that the hotel is located right next to Chinatown, a place that always feels like home. We dressed up in complimenting Gucci looks for a classy afternoon tea at The Ritz-Carlton with our family before making our way through the bustling San Francisco streets. The sky was blue. The sun was out. Our outfits popped. San Francisco will always remind me of classic rock n’ roll and I really think these outfits are Jimi Hendrix approved. He definitely would have appreciated a little leopard love.

Going to San Francisco for work is always amazing. I was just about to head back down to LA, my hometown, but I couldn’t leave without visiting the Painted Ladies. It’s like out of a storybook. Reminding me of those rainy day re-runs of Full House. It’s a place unlike any other. Quaint, but unlike NYC’s chaotic quaintness. Sleepy, but unlike LA’s crowded highways and never ending party scene. I don’t ever want San Francisco to lose what it’s known for. The art, rock n’ roll, and revolution of Haight Ashbury and The Mission. The mom and pops, the vintage, and the music. My stay was quick, and the city felt even more quiet than I remember. Driving down the crooked street with Jimi on the stereo, our next stop was Venice Beach. It was comforting knowing I’d be ringing in 2016 with a lot more familiar faces.

I have a very special place in my heart for the beautiful and romantic San Francisco, and my absolute favorite boutique is AZALEA SF. You will definitely find me in their Hayes Street store whenever I’m in town. Their selection is a bit bohemian and earthy like myself, mixed with the classic down-to-earth minimalism that just oozes out from the easy, breezy Bay Area. A place where I never leave the hotel without a light coat. The city’s crisp fresh air has allowed us to perfect the lightly layered, warmer winters you find on the West Coast. Dylana and I worked with the AZALEA SF team to style their latest A/W ’15 collection, and hit the stunning, yet steep San Francisco streets. This season, I’m all about the structured coat, boyish beanies, slouchy trousers. But then again, I have to have that outstanding fringed jacket, nubby knits, and paisley mini dresses. This is our take on classic San Francisco style. We are always going to remain California girls at heart.
