Jumpsuit: Mango, Shoes: Via Spiga

I scored this MNG jumpsuit during my stay in Malaysia. I love it’s slouchy, trouser-y feel. A blouse and trouser thrown into one. It’s easy, I like pieces that are just throw it on and go go go. Coolness guaranteed. I’m loving Jade Green nails as well. It’s sort of an instant mood lifter too lol! And thank you Canon for giving me some clear, crisp snapshots :)) Still trying to get a hang of the darn thing! I hope everyone is having an awesome week so far. I’ve just been driving all over the place, hitting traffic, and getting back to reading more novels in my down time. It’s hot and sunny here, perfect “reading on the porch” weather!

Anywhoooo, here are two awesome illustrations sent to me by two really amazing artists. It must have taken so much time and effort. I really, really appreciate it girls, thank you!

This one is illustrated by Carmo, blogger and artist of Carmo Avant Chanel! Hailing all the way from Lisbon, she shows some raw, natural talent by getting down even the smallest details on paper!

Annnddd the picture below was illustrated by Jessi Attenborough from the Netherlands! Visit her Blog as well as Photography! She has an incredible eye and captures images in such a way that leaves a bit to the imagination while still getting the message across. Plus, the girl can draw!!

My love for the Alexander Wang braid continues. I’ve been wearing this messy side braid whenever I have some down time. I’m beginning to like it more than the messy bun I usually sport around the house. My sister and I were playing around with our Canon SLR today and we got a few simple shots we loved!

Wren!

Dress: Wren, Blazer: Ramona West Vintage
I’m currently coveting my new Wren dress. I’ve had a love for Melissa Coker’s designs ever since walking in one of her very first fashion presentations. Her designs are just my style, so when I heard she was sending me a piece, I knew I would love it. It’s got an amazing fit, black lace, and cool zipper detail. Pretty much perfection. Wren’s flirty, fun dresses are beautiful, yet still have a little edge. It’s no wonder It-girls Alexa Chung, Harley-Viera Newton, and Tennessee Thomas hold the spot as Wren campaign models! And like me, are Wren’s #1 fans.

Below are some of my favorite Wren looks, perfect for the modern it-girl. Do check out more photos from the Wren lookbooks HERE!

Dries Van Noten Love

I cannot get enough of the Dries Van Noten fall 2010 collection! It has this vintage and sophisticated vibe that has got me obsessed! I love the classic shapes in nudes, blacks, and grays created with luxurious fabrics. Pieces that will last a lifetime and never, ever go out of style. Not to mention those round sunnies which I’m totally lusting over! They really made the looks that much more perfect. All I can say is, every girl walking down that runway looked like the coolest girl in town.
