Leather Pants: Zara, Blazer: Promod, Shirt: from Malaysia, Booties: Stefane Kelian

I’ve been on the lookout for leather pants and finally found the perfect pair over at Zara. Ever since I’ve been back from overseas, I’ve been finding the time to throw these bad boys on. Soft, supple leather, perfect for everday wear. Paired them with a blazer I got while in Kuala Lumpur. Found it at a really cool store called Promod that we don’t have at the States. I love the structured shoulders look so much! So basically, this is my go-to look when I have no care to sift through my drawers! And I had to throw on the bracelets I bought from the Balinese during my stay in Indonesia. The Balinese women showered them with good luck before giving them to me. Spirtual healing indeed!

She Comes Out at Night

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

One of my all time favorite shows from Fashion Week was Proenza Schouler. I loved the dark sheer accents on the clothing along with the dark purple, almost black, lipstick that really contrasted with the models skin tone. Exactly what a girl who only comes out at night would look like. Dark, mysterious, but oh so cool.

Speaking of a girl who would only come out at night! Here’s a candid of me, shot by photographer Rj Shaughnessy. This photo was taken before I left for holiday in Asia.Cannot believe how pale I was. I have a feeling my slight tan from my recent vacation will be fading. Anywho, I’m kinda diggin the vampy result of my portrait. Now I just need some of that Proenza Schouler lipstick and run out into the night.

I’m back in the States, after a very long holiday overseas! I’m a bit jet lagged but still in high spirits, especially when greeted with a few packages in the mail. One which contained pieces from the amazing brand, StyleSofia! I love this Rolling Stones tee with the pearl studded tongue paired with the Gem BodyCon skirt! Very glam rock n roll that is so wearable. I was testing out my Canon digital SLR camera inside the house and took a few fun snapshots. Thanks again to StyleSofia for the pieces and the feature! Do visit their online store, I’m sure you’ll find something you will love!
So back to the real world: I’m hooommee. I love coming back to my own house, but am still missing all the fun in Asia: the unlimited Tea Tarik, white sandy beaches, and great exotic food. I’m already thinking of my next holiday…. traveling is so addicting. I cannot stay in one place too long.
But for the moment, looking through all the latest runway images! Sooo many great collections! more posts to come 🙂

Melaka Madness

I took a trip to Melaka, Malaysia this week, just a 2 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. It is very old and historical city with beautiful buildings made of bricks and stones. I loved the view from the top of the fort, ocean on one end and the town on the other. It is a very colorful, festive city, full of life. And the food is incredible! Especially the Nyonya Cendol, their famous ice dessert. It was really hot, but we still decided to climb the steps up the fort and to take lots of photos. Plus, it was much needed exercise lol!! Just wore a basic tank and denim cut-offs. I love Melaka and am so happy I went, even if I did feel sticky from the heat by the end of the day. It was a fun place to spend the day for sure. Definitely a must-go-to city in Malaysia if you ever get the chance to visit!!

And thank you Naples Street Style for the FEATURE! I have always admired how the Italians dress, so I’m super excited to be featured on their fashion site! Definitely check it out and browse the site! It helps keep me updated on the latest runway shows, and everything else in between when I’m practically on the other side of the world!! But you may need to translate!!
