Thank you Hamptons Monthly for having me as your cover star this month! I am proud to be a true New Yorker now. The Hamptons is truly one of my favorite locations to photograph in. I remember visiting Montauk for the first time many years ago on location for a campaign shoot. And ever since, work has brought me back countless times. I love it so much. It’s my easy holiday getaway. The Hamptons is iconic. This shot was taken at The Lobster Roll, or should i say, “LUNCH.” I was inspired by the All-American colors, and the relaxed and elegant state of mind. I just got back from a week out East at Star Island and I can’t wait to share more with you.

This is one look to bike around Brooklyn in. The extra shiny short, a Koral original, and a pop of green, thanks to the Adam Selman x Le Specs sunglasses collaboration, are my sporty summer essentials. Made for a weekend sweat out in the park. I could see my parents rocking this in Santa Monica in the early 80’s. Everything skintight and shiny. Dare to get a little weird during your workouts these days and reflect off the sun as you run on by.

A little play on light versus dark. It’s during these really uncertain times that we should always choose to be the light. It’s amazing to see strong female voices being heard. To see our industry listen and really work harder to be more inclusive, thoughtful, and positive. Let’s keep the momentum going. Be the light.

BROOKLYN IN BLOOM

Brooklyn is officially in bloom. I stopped to smell the roses here at the beautiful Cadman Plaza. I like to take evening strolls here, or sometimes you might find me zooming by on my bicycle. As evenings cool down, I like to throw on a duster and a great pair of boots. My other little tip in recreating this look is to take some of your favorite high waisted wide leg jeans and cutting them into bermuda shorts. Get creative! I’m feeling grateful for all the little bits of nature I can get right now. I’m busy this weekend planning a road trip escape for the 4th and everything pictured here will certainly be packed in my duffel bag. Only the classics.
