Must-Have Denim Mini

(By Corpus denim dress, Vintage scarf, Velvetine bag, Urban sandals)

I am currently in New York and wa wa wa, forgot my ISB cord. FAIL on my behalf. All New York posts will have to wait till Friday when I’m at my sissy’s place in Philadelphia. And I was so excited after hitting the town tonight and snapping so many fun pictures! No surprise considering I’m a complete spaz when it comes to last minute packing. Anyways, here is one of my favorite spring looks, worn a few days back home in LA. I’m in love with a denim mini. Easy and simple. But my favorite thing about this look? Neon little gel sandals. The jellys are BACK. woot woot! Wish I brought this entire look here to New York! Weather is stellar and totally spring.

Dear New York readers,

MEET ME TODAY, Thursday, May 12th, at the MANGO store event (on Broadway, SOHO) in NEW YORK CITY! See all details to the event HERE!

It’s gonna be fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!

Rugged Cargo and Stripes

I never take off this MANGO black ring!

Mmmm, Vegetable Korma!

Can’t get enough of metallic nails this season!

Chicken Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaag. Heavenly.

(White + Warren cashmere sweater and cargo jacket, SOLD Design Lab faux leather pants, Banana Republic boots, Vintage Versace bag)

I had such a wonderful Mother’s Day. I brought my adorable mum with me to pick out a new MANGO outfit for the New York City event on Thursday. She has such great taste and helped me pick out my previous Mango event outfit! It took a bit of time, but we did eventually find the perfect and I must say, the most DREAMY outfit for the event. I’m beyond excited to wear it! For this day out with my hot mama shopping, I went with a very cool rugged White + Warren cargo jacket and super soft cashmere striped sweater. Half casual, half rockstar with the crazy faux leather pants! We ended our evening at a cute little Indian restaurant in Sherman Oaks. We tried out a new place, called “Heart of India” and it was unbelievably delicious. And have you noticed how sweet the waiters are at those restaurants?! I love when they are family owned and totally adorable. I definitely know where I’m getting my curry next time! Until then, I’ve got sooo much to do. I still need to pack for the east coast! I’m extremely excited to see my sister Dylana in Philly after the MANGO New York City event!

Through the Bridge

(Oak skirt, Express top, Vintage Ferragamo shoes, Velvetine bag, Hallelu/MANGO accessories)

Looks like I’ve found a new spot to take photos! Evening sunlight goes through this narrow bridge perfectly. This day, I went with a very feminine look and played a bit with proportions. I paired a sheer printed blouse with a long, slender skirt. The cinched waist gives the look a bit more shape. Threw on my favorite pair of vintage ballet flats and hit the streets. It’s a bit more put-together than my normal looks. It’s a fresh spin on things!

So far, this week has been filled with nothing but meetings with friends, bloggers, and of course getting lots of work done! Dylana is packing and getting ready for her move to Philadelphia and we have been trying our hardest to get all of our friends together one last time before she leaves! It really hasn’t quite hit us yet that she is moving, but I know it will very soon. Though I will miss her like crazy, I’m excited to see what she brings to the East Coast!

Speaking of which, I will be in New York City next Thursday, May 12th, to host another amazing MANGO event in Soho! Open to the public! I cannot WAIT to meet all of NYC readers! More details to come in my next post!
