I’m back in New York baby!! Felt like throwing some inspiration your way this morning. I now want some funky sunnies, crazy leather skirts, a skateboard, and some heavily chained jewels. Talk about badass.

From two of my daily reads: studded hearts and tales of endearment

I’ve been up and down the California coast for work this past week and though I’m completely exhausted from late nights and morning’s waking up at 5:30, I still feel good whenever I’m by the ocean. Heavenly weather permits nothing but a flowing embroidered blouse and one awesome bauble on my index finger. And guess what? It is indeed Jewelmint , and day 5 of jewelmint-wearing my features has arrived! My ever growing ring collection is out of control, yet this one always seems to catch my eye when searching for a piece to wear. I love the blue contrasting with the yellow. Beach-y perfection.

Speaking of which, I’m staying at a beautiful hotel right on the coast in Santa Monica and though I’m away from my room, working during the day, at least I got to catch a glimpse of the sunset before crashing on my bed. Looks like this is my last day on the gorgeous west coast..before heading to NYC then Europe! But my schedule already says I’ll be making another trip out here next month. Somehow the Pacific brings me back time and time again.

I’m up bright and early, watching the sun rise from my porch. I’ve got a super long day ahead of me and I just wanted one moment to sit back and relax.With not time to really put any thought into my recent looks, I went with something really basic: leather pants, a black tee, and a printed loose cardigan. But to make it all a bit more pulled together, I added a pop of blue with my new Jewelmint necklace. The silver fringe on this piece is nothing but California cool!

I told you I’d be taking advantage of the comfortable Cali climate and sporting all my little, skin-bearing pieces. How angelic is this dress? The flowing white back made this simple tee dress all the more beautiful. And tadaaa, it’s day 3 of Jewelmint craziness. I’m sporting a long chained necklace adorned with a handful of leaves… hot off the Jewelmint website. I couldn’t be more obsessed. The piece is bohemian classic and works with everything in my wardrobe. I feel like a Greek goddess in this little get-up. Fly, fly, fly on up and out!
