My very good friend, the adorable Julie of Sincerely Jules, was hosting the Madewell event here in Century City. It was so fun viewing the new collection and munching on delicious sweets! Thanks to my sweater, this turned out to be one briiiight post. I paired my electric orange pullover with a vintage skirt by Calvin Klein and a vintage hat I bought in Spain. Easy and simple for a weekend out with friends. After the event, we got a huge table at Pink Taco and devoured some of the yummiest Mexican food ever under the sun. Many thanks to Jules for inviting us! It was one hell of a time 😉

Hosting the MANGO + Marie Claire Event in Santa Monica!

I was surprisingly very comfortable having the camera follow me during the entire event! The MANGO film crew were so much fun!

My sister, Dylana Suarez, and our good friend and new fashion blogger, Shamime Shaw, came out to the event! They’re the best!

The lovely Carmen Chan, creator and photographer of How I Met Your Style, came out! She has become one of my very good friends ever since photographing us in our home!

About to perform!!

I performed 2 songs. All of which were recorded by MANGO and should be out later this month! Knocksteady.com was also there to get video footage of me at the event!

MANGO Loves Fashion Bloggers!

I finally got to meet Mckenzie Dowler of The Fitting. She was so much fun and we have become such great friends! I helped her style a look for Spring. She chose out this beautiful knit sweater!

On Friday night, I hosted the MANGO + Marie Claire event in Santa Monica! It was the most wonderful experience ever. So many of my friends came out, as well as many of my blog readers! I got to finally meet them in person, and even help them shop for some of their favorite spring pieces. Everyone found a MANGO piece they loved that really fit their own personal style. Specially for the event, I went with a beautiful head to toe MANGO outfit. It was very romantic and soft, perfect for spring: a sheer printed blouse with a blush pink ballerina skirt. It was the first thing I tried on when I went in a few days in advance to pick out my outfit and right away, I knew it was the special outfit to wear that night.

I had the lovely MANGO film crew there to videotape me at the event. They were so much fun and I felt totally comfortable in front of the camera. I did interviews throughout the night, as well as got in footage with the guests! It was such a blast. We had a ton of laughs. So many of the guests got dressed in MANGO looks and got their picture taken, to enter the $500 raffle! (Congrats to my lovely blog reader, Jennifer, for winning!)

I ended the evening with a performance, singing and playing my guitar. I did one song, and everyone wanted to hear more, and so I went ahead and sang another one. I loved performing for everyone live. It was such a special part of the night. I’m a bit nervous to see it on video, but also very excited. It was such a wonderful evening and I have give a big thank you to MANGO and Marie Claire magazine for giving me this opportunity. To be a part of the MANGO brand has been a total dream come true. It was one night I will never forget! Thanks to everyone who came out! xx

Thank Goodness It’s Friday!

Here I am during an evening out with friends, wearing an adorable lace dress by Meghan of Los Angeles. The little fringe details along with the high neckline and mini-ness, makes this dress one of my favorites. I like how it can easily transition from something to wear day to night.

And can you believe it is FRIDAY?! Time really does fly when you’re having fun. This week has been intense with work and everything else in between, but I’ve been having the time of my life. Everything feels a lot more like play rather than work. I’m excited to share all the images from my photoshoots with you when they are out! With all this madness, how is it possible that there is still more fun to go around? Welp, there is! Meet me tonight, just before the weekend hits:

Back in California

Spent one afternoon walking Ocean Avenue, getting back into the California vibe after my stay in Europe. Being back with my family is the best. I missed them! I went with a very relaxed, classic outfit for my evening out for coffee and shopping. I paired an animal print sweater with my favorite Jil Sander trousers. My new carryall is the one that steals the show though! I just received this new Velvetine handbag from Paris and I instantly fell in love with it the moment it arrived at my doorstep. The details are amazing and leather is superb. The first thing I do when I receive a new handbag is sniff the leather. And this one’s smell won me over for sure! The 3 inner zippers also makes it easy for me to search all my things. I definitely needed a new shoulder bag and this one is perfect. I’m such a huge Velvetine bag fan now!

I hope everyone has a fantastic week! Mine is a bit crazy at the moment. I’m shooting everyday gaaah, but I love the hectic schedule. Ending the week at the MANGO event:
