I’m on the go all summer long, from festivals on the East Coast to laying on the beaches of Turks & Caicos. With summer in full swing, you’ll find me in colors of the desert sun, like oranges, purples, and blue. Browns Fashionis my go-to for summer resort wear. I’m gravitating towards Diana Ross inspired mini-dresses and luxurious satin pumps that glimmer under the disco ball. Art deco is back! It’s all about bringing that going-out city style to my vacation. Lots of legs and sparkle to shine under the sun. Glamour! I go to Browns Fashion to discover incredible designers, unique shapes, and quality pieces that will live in my closet for a very long time. These are the kind of looks I’ll be dancing to every night this summer.
I don’t leave the house without a knit. It’s the finishing touch to my look. It completes it. I like taking something like a classic white pant and trouser, and transforming it. I love something that makes me stand out from the pack. St. John has some incredible little knit jackets and blazers. They are pure luxury. The St. John tweed knit jacket reminds me so much of a vintage blazer you can only find in super special consignment boutiques. I jumped at this jacket once I spotted it online. It’s the fit. It’s the fabric. St. John is modern luxury and you can tell just by feeling it. Living in it. Why is black and white always so chic?!
My love for really well-made lingerie continues. I’ve just discovered the perfect set from my go-to lingerie brand Natori here at Macy’s. This beautiful royal blue hue designed by Josie Natori matches everything from my curtains to my favorite blanket. It’s a color of comfort. It’s a completely new take on the classic tee-shirt bra. The little lace and sheer accents make this super comfortable set extra luxurious. When I find something that works well on my body, hugs it in all the right places, and feels amazing on my skin, I just stick with it. I stick with what works and feels best for me, in any situation. It could be for a night of dancing in my favorite white tee. It could be hiking in a perfect pair of blue jeans. It could be on set at a shoot with a little silk dress. It’s in all of these situations that my undergarments play a huge role. I’m all for anything that allows me to move, and be completely comfortable in my own skin. Josie Natori’s elegant collection ranges from 30A to 44G, flattering women of all shapes and sizes. 2017 is for owning your own body in all of it’s uniqueness. I think I’ll take this set in black and pale pinkto add to my collection.
