I fell madly in love with the super chic and minimal Morgane Le Fay store in Soho. I remember being a kid and walking down Montana Ave in Santa Monica just going ga-ga. My obsessed started there. I get the same feeling here in NYC. Recently, I’ve been investing in quality, simple pieces that I’ll keep forever. Unique shapes in out of this world delicate fabrics. Like this off shoulder dress that from a distance, looks shapeless, but with it’s one front tuck stitched so perfectly at the hip, it’s immediately transformed into something angelic and feminine. That’s what the designer does. Tweaks classic shapes into something unexpected and beautiful. I like to give them a fun spin with a good pair of leather clogs, and of course my layered on silver jewels. How killer is this ostrich skirt and star-studded blouse? Styling this for the streets is going to be FUN.

RULES ARE MEANT FOR BREAKING

For me, rules are always meant for breaking. Especially when it comes to what I wear. I love metallics, and when spotted this beautiful gold skirt at YOOX, I knew I had to have it. My current rule breakers? Wearing your metallics in the day time. Trust me, not all glitter and shine is meant for those sassy nights out. You know you can find me pairing my party skirt with a classic Jonathan Saunders sweater, and Acne trench coat. All of which I found at YOOX. Their designer selection is absolutely insane and so easy to shop. The great thing about a transitional, out of this world piece like this skirt, is that I can easily switch to a silk tank and neck scarf for night. But for day, I keep it cozy and daring, unafraid of the sun reflecting off this beauty! YOOX’s designer selection is eclectic just like me. Mixing it up is the art of it all. And with that, I can easily break the rules with whatever I feel like wearing. So long as your proportions and colors are just right, it’s so fun to surprise everyone with your wild ensemble that just looks like it was made for you. So for now, I’ll be  constantly browsing the designers at YOOX, because with the holidays, I know I can score a killer deal…like these Opening Ceremony booties.
