Who doesn’t love a good pair of flare?! This one is covered in a sheer paislee print and I’m addicted….oh, and actually long enough for my height. Wasteland, you did me good. Shot by my sister in Brooklyn, she always makes me feel a bit more like a rockstar…her being a total hippie herself. I love you Dy and I miss you! I’ve been seriously getting into earrings lately. These were handed to me from the lovely Jenny Bird, and I cannot take them off. Sadly, I’ve left them in my apartment back in NYC. Right now, I just had sit-down home-made breakfast in my family’s LA abode…filled with fresh raspberry pancakes and coffee. The sun completely brightening up our family room. I love being home, even if it’s just for this super short while. The heat here is killing me though!! I’m going to be off to Venice for a shoot later this evening, and I’m pretty excited to prance around the beach in nothin’ but swimmy’s and woven hats! Stay tuned on what’s goin’ on here in LA LA LAAAAND! I’m ready to just be a beach bum tomorrow with all my LA women. x

Oh, we all just wanna be LOVED!! Covered in daisies and some bright pink lips, I am so ready for LA! Wildfox, I absolutely love you and your cheeky prints! Yep, bright and early tomorrow morning I am off to the homeland then down, down to San Diego. The ocean breeze, skimpy bikinis, and late nights on the beach curled in an oversize sweatshirt. Oh, and with just a little bit of work sprinkled on top. I need some California sun pronto! The mum and pops are going to be so darn happy we get to hang out, just like old times. When they’d accompany me on castings, every job…well, until I grew up to drive and rebel to do everything else on my own. Now…grown up, I want them around because I rarely get to see them and live on the opposite side of the country. Sometimes you just wanna be loved like a child from your mummy and poppy hehe! I’m just so ready for a home-cooked Malaysian meal. Here I’m shot on my NYC roof, acting silly with Dylana and Kelsea…flashing everyone my all-time favorite dress. Here’s to sunshine, California girls, and coooool adventures.

There are only some days that I’ll wear head-to-toe black. This was one. Some cut-outs, a waxed denim jacket, some fun patent nastygal kicks with the white sole. Sometimes I prefer to just be more subtly loud…no crazy colors needed. As if I’m walking through the LES and meshing in with the black on black crowds of hooligans. My Stance socks collection ever growing. But I’ve always got to have some color…even it’s only in my cherry red lip. This dress fits like a bathing suit top, and it’s already getting my in the California groove. Yep, I’m back in LA next week and I can’t wait to kick it Cali style…barefoot with a good ol’ pair of bell-bottoms. It’s LA, San Diego, then another week in la la land. Who knows? Maybe I’ll road trip up to Vegas the following week. We’ll see what happens. It’s summer and I want to make the most of it. Time to whip out the suitcase.

Take a peek inside our latest Volcom lookbook, shot by Dylana Suarez. At first, the makeup was deep burgundy lips, the skirt worn as a tube top, along with a square-ish denim jacket. Right away, we got a super 90’s Glam vibe. We were oh so inspired by the beautiful and badass vibe of JLO along with the supermodels of the time…with their loose, long waves, giant hoop earrings, and over-the-top poses. The crazy reflective sunglasses were just one added touch. It’s all about mixing and matching, and layering, and erm, showing a liiiiiittttle bit of skin! For the last look, I found myself in the Volcom “dotted line” daisy bikini top and bottom, hoop earrings, a baseball cap, and pulling at a rad pair of overall shorts. With just a swipe of nude lips and a little flair in my hair, we created the perfect 90’s GLAM swim look. Definitely what I’d wear if I were a 90’s superstar. x
