SAG HARBOUR | WINE

I have so many little stories to tell you from my weekend getaways. I really, REALLY miss my #MontaukOffDuty days, though I’m still currently happy to be cozying up in a sweater and looking out into the gloomy city skyline from my home workspace. But yes, Montauk days were pure bliss. I’d do anything to get that tan back! But it’s the oceanside runs, beachside picnics, and most importantly, our PLAYLISTS that got me going.
But when the rain hits out East (which it always does) we sort of panicked. So instead of looking out into the empty pool chairs, splattered with rain. We got on the road. Headed to do anything, anywhere. That’s how we ended up here. Randomly stumbling upon Wölffer Estate Vineyard. The rows of grape vines so long, and so wide, you can’t see anything on either side. Pure GREEN. I’ve fall hard for these beautiful places. The rainy, damp streets of Sag Harbour. The stately homes with their black shutters. It’s a place you’ll find movie stars hidden in the back of the restaurant, yet it’s still got a down to earth vibe. The winery was just what we needed before heading back to the city…saying goodbye to summer. For a day on the patio, and running through the fields, I went with a classic white tunic, sequined bohemain shorts, and a woven hat.

MIAMI SWIM WEEK | Surf n’ Sun

MIAMI. I miss that HOT HEAT. And there really is nothing better than MIAMI SWIM WEEK. Days are spent in your bikinis, working on your tan by the pool… nights spent seated at the runway shows with your toes in the sand! Sweaty, dewy skin and short shorts completely acceptable. My bikini collection is never ending and honestly, I’ve discovered so many incredible swim brands this past year. I think I have over 100 swimsuits?! That’s my vice. I can never get rid of my favorite KINIS. This season, Dylana and I went with my love Pooja of 6 Shore Road! I even closed in her runway show. Nose ring, smokey eyes, and all! I became that Tibetan Warrior on the catwalk.
When OFF DUTY, we explored the colorful art deco streets of Miami. I lived in my trusty light blue denim shorts, rompers, and just one pair of sandals. Bold and retro one-pieces, and bustier 2-pieces bringing vibrant colors and prints into my wardrobe. No make-up necessary. Take a peek into my Miami photo diary.

CIROC TAKES NYFW

With the launch of Ciroc Pineapple, #TropicalLuxury was literally all that I had on my mind. Thank you to everyone who followed along during my Ciroc Instagram takeover! I love that this particular flavor stands for having that summer mindset all year round. It’s a bit sweet, but not too over-empowering. So refreshing. It’s about re-living what summer is all about. Freedom, spontaneity, and discovering beauty all around you.
Fashion Week is exactly that. I become mesmerized at every single show I went to. Falling into the mood of the clothes, the thump of the music. Tropical Luxury was everywhere. From the blue printed birds on Mara Hoffman‘s dresses to the pineapple cellphone cases I’ve seen everyone grasping onto en route to the shows. Each reminding me of heavenly summers on a hammock in Montauk or Miami. Shadowed palm trees against a blue sky at Yigal Azrouel. Animal prints and eclectic tropical beading at Libertine. Then to top it all off, there was the absolutely gorgeous fresh floral runway at Tommy Hilfiger. Every stomp of those star-studded boots a WIN, WIN in my book.

Ciroc Pineapple is about that lifestyle… living in the moment, and with each little sip, taking you back to one of your favorite tropical memories… anytime of year. . I’m honestly a huge fan of fruity cocktails, and having a splash of Ciroc Pineapple has made it to the top of my list!

I’m so excited to share with you a final ROUND-UP from this season’s #TropicalLuxury. I cannot wait till Spring!

BRITISH WIT // LFW

London is my TOP, TOP place to visit. I don’t know why, but I’ve been madly in love with England before I’ve even been there years back. Maybe it’s the accents? Maybe it’s the gloom? Maybe it’s the rock n’ roll? But honestly, I love everything London brings. I try hardest to go during fashion week each season. Luckily, I had a shoot there right smack dab in the middle of fashion week. Couldn’t be a better excuse to see friends and catch some shows! So knowing I’d be in London for literally only 2 nights, I packed about 4 items. This blouse, a skirt, another shirt, and a pair of jeans. After all the years of overweight baggage fees, I’ve opted to go for a carry-on and nothing else. Packing toooo light is now my problem, but I basically just mixed and matched everything I had. Going for this ruched camo bomber jacket (it’s insane!) with some florals, and some leather. VIOLA. That’s me at Somerset House. Snapped by my favorite Brit/Scottish girl EVER: Jennifer of StyleEast! (See her image below walkin in some vintage trousers and trainers) I became friends with this babe years ago in NYC. Now, I never make a London visit without WhatsApping the heck out of her and all our friends.

Another amazing thing at Somerset House? The streetstyle. So. Many. Hot. People. Londoners have this easy way of dressing. Thrown together and cool. So of course I snapped away. I used most for my WhoWhatWear Instagram takeover (thanks for everyone who followed along!) Here’s more snapshots to add to the bunch!
