A WEEKEND AWAY AT THE MAKER HOTEL

I spent an absolutely dreamy weekend upstate at The Maker Hotel in The Architect suite. This very special place and I share a love for eclectic interiors. Just look closely at every single little detail here. It’s impeccable. Each piece telling a story, all from around the world. The Architect suite is made for lovers of interior design, travel, and interesting homes. Yep, that’s me. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on all the books and dive right into this giant hub of inspiration. It was my first time in Hudson, NY and I just fell in love with this charming little town though honestly, we spent most of our time right here in the room. Order room service, have a glass of wine, read, and just relax. Here are a few quick tips for your getaway. Head to the restaurant and get the Dutch Baby pancake for brunch and The Maker burger for dinner. Oh, and don’t forget to leave with a The Maker fragrance to remind you of your stay. I chose Libertine. It’s citrusy, and smells so fresh. It actually smells like freedom. And this place is just that. A place to feel free to live in your own little world. This was the most romantic place to be snowed in by the fireplace and I just want to close my eyes, go back, and do it all over again.

SIMPLICITY IN MEXICO

In Mexico, I woke up at sunrise each morning, and took a bath before bed at 10pm every night. I felt more alive, healthier than ever, and even more passionate for my work. I’m all about rest and relaxation to get up each day to live out our passions at our highest potential. There’s something in the air by the sea here that feels invigorating. It was just the trip I needed.

MATCHING THE DECOR AT THE MARK HOTEL

There is something about yellow that just makes me happy. I had no idea that I would be matching the decor during my stay at the iconic Mark Hotel here in uptown Manhattan. I was with the Noble Panacea team, to celebrate their new luxury skincare line. These fun photos were taken after a super relaxing deep tissue massage. Maybe that’s why I have flushed cheeks and a smile on my face. I feel good.

IN CABO WITH DSW!

I just spent the week in Cabo for a very special project with DSW! We shot so many amazing things for this summer campaign that I can’t wait to show you. We had a super busy past few days, but I loved every second of it. These photos were taken at the special Steve Madden dinner at the Chileno Bay Resort overlooking the sea with the DSW team. I love an easy nude heel and a touch of sparkle. Not to mention, a sexy slip dress that can easily be thrown over a bikini. This was a dream project and a much needed escape from NYC. I’m feeling grateful at the moment to get to travel the world again.
