GEORGINA Street

Getting to go back and forth to LA for work is the best. Between long days shooting and running downtown for meetings, I make catching the sunset down in my hometown of Santa Monica a must. Georgina Street. Serene and beautiful. It’s row of palm trees leading straight to the ocean. Heavenly with it’s golden glow. Next month, I’ll be back again for an exciting project. Even better, it’s an excuse to spend the holiday season with MOM, POPS, and Dylana. Kicking it California style. I can hardly wait. When I’m packing, it’s always easier to go with all black, black, and more black. I think I can perfectly lift a suitcase and know right away when it’s juuuuust under 50 lbs. 2 pairs of boots, the necessities, and I’m good to go. Here, I went with perfect black skinny jeans, a dress turned last-minute tunic, and a pop of leopard in my bag. These 90’s style studs just rock my world. Now take a peek into my sunshine state.

Tailored to Perfection | F21

This look is super vintage inspired. We’re talking the 70’s! Classic Jane Birkin and Patti Smith. Babes who lived for their tailored jackets, ties, and pantsuits. This sleek black duster by Forever 21 is part of their premium outerwear collection. It has a bit of shine, and it’s my go-to for nights out on the town. I like that it has a bit more structure, a bit more edge. With a silk pantsuit, some fishnet socks, and platform shoes, it’s all about those retro nights…curled up in the studio with your favorite band. Rock n’ roll baby.

ANTIQUING AND BBQING

hudson21resized

You know how much I love taking a classic road trip, especially during the fall. I love the gloomy skies, the crisp air blowing in your face…and a car full of snacks along with a good playlist. I always catch myself taking videos with my head stuck outside the window. We hit the road up to Hudson, NY (a good two and half hour drive). It’s a teeny, tiny town. Quaint, and known for it’s absolutely AMAZING antique shops. Just moving into a new apartment, the decor and furniture we saw were inspiring. Eclectic, fun, and interesting pieces.  In Hudson, you can kind of escape into your own world, discovering old, lost treasures. You can hide in the back of a restaurant for some bbq brisket, or get lost in a book at the bookstore. Now that’s my cup of tea.
