To the Underground

(via Volcomunity)

“Take a look at some snapshots taken down in the subway, and everywhere in between in NYC. All shot by my awesome friend Ariana of www.55-th-street.com. She’s got the travel bug, and texted me saying “I have to, have to shoot you again, before I head to Brazil!” And of course, I agreed. Though we were both super busy, we met up at Grand Central to snap up these photos. She’s always awesome to work with, even shooting in the craziest of conditions…during rush hour in the city! The photos came out just the way we like it, dark and morbid. I wore a beige crochet blouse, a long sheer skirt, and giant leopard coat. I think my greatest accessory is the underground band, no?”

Passion Lady

(Ainsley printed jumper, True Religion leather jacket, Steve Madden sandals, Rebecca Minkoff bag, Alimonada 3-spikes necklace, Rad + Refined Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony sunglasses)

Weekend, you are almost almost here and I cannot wait! My big sis, Dylana, is coming to town, meaning it’s bound to be a great next few days! This week has been insane. It feels like I’ve seen EVERY single apartment on the market here in New York. Moving is just a total pain in the behind, but I’m not letting it stress me out! Being one of those crazy Chinese feng shui girls, I’m a little picky. Instead, I’ve decided to spend one of the most beautiful, spring-like days this week bouncing around the East Village in a playful printed jumper by NYC designer Ainsley. This one’s a bit different. It’s splashed with pastel-colored horses yet the open back makes this onsie a bit sexy. Anything that has to do with wild horses gets me. Even on my desk, I’ve got this giant wild horses poster, you know…just chilling there, waiting to eventually be hung up. Spikes, on the other hand, made this otherwise sweet look, a bit more me. I’ve recently ordered a few pieces from one of my new favorite jewelry shops Alimonada! The amount of body chain armor I own is getting insane, but at least I’ve got some killer protection right at my fingertips.

Gahh, I’m excited to finally spend this weekend crashed on the couch. My friends and I have a burrito movie night planned. Lord knows we need one after this bizarre yet beautiful week! Oh, and let’s get some Doors up in here (Jim Morrisson? HELLO)

Floral Obsession

(Joie coat, Vintage sweater, Club Couture blue shirt, Seven For All Mankind “Garden Party jeans, Dear Fieldbinder boots, Rebecca Minkoff bag)

Spring is quickly approaching and the only thing I have on my mind are floral prints. Floral denim in particular! I recently attended the 7 For All Mankind event here in New York in celebration of their Spring campaign featuring the gorgeous Lily Donaldson, shot by James Franco. The campaign, shot on the coast of LA, featured videos, candid party images, and super hot denim…all which brought back memories of home. I miss the sun and beach so incredibly much! And imagine…James Franco frolicking around with his camera and a bunch of hot models…why wasn’t I there eh? Anyways, I snagged this amazing pair of “Garden Party” jeans on my way out and I still, I cannot stop staring at the print. I love the mash-up of mini flowers! Slipping into these before a full-day of apartment hunting in Brooklyn definitely made the day a bit brighter. It was SO freezing and so I layered a button-down under a heavy wool sweater and coat. Even after all that work, looks like I’ll be relocating, but still in Manhattan! It’s hard to leave the island once you’re in it!

Woven Soles

(True Religion leather jacket, Bar III blazer, Mango blouse, Forever 21 scarf, Seventh of Bishop trousers, Rebecca Minkoff bag, UGG Collection shoes)

HAPPY MONDAY! I’m still in weekend mode…but it’s so beautiful out, I’m kind of excited to start the day. On my to-do list? A bunch of castings (ehhh #modellife), events, and of course giving you the inside scoop on some of my favorite new pieces. Right now, I’m a bit obsessed with the new UGG Collection shoes. During NYFW, I teamed up with Modellounge and UGG Australia to cover fashion week, hitting up Lincoln Center in these killer woven heels. They’re probably the most luxurious shoes I own! The woven leather is just so beautiful and I love the sleek wooden heel, which is made of the same wood they use on guitars. I dressed down these beauties with a really simple look that I could easily wear everyday…a leather moto jacket, loose trousers, and giant scarf. Sun’s out today, but it’s totally deceiving. I know I’m going to have to bundle up like mad!

See the rest of my feature with UGG Australia HERE! Take me back to NYFW pleeeease!
