SHE SELLS SEASHELLS BY THE SEASHORE

Dressed as a seashell in the gorgeous waters of Lanikai Beach. I’ve decided that if I had to live anywhere in Oahu, I would live here in Kailua. The area is so green and lush. The homes are perched perfectly in the hills. There are plenty of gorgeous hidden spots on the water. It’s the most perfect spot for biking, hiking, or simply hopping in your Jeep and going. I could easily get used this lifestyle.

BEACH PUNK

Punk was my nickname growing up. I was always a mischievous kid, and a total tomboy. I never wore a dress. I was always silly and being playful in my big combat boots and baggy clothes. I refused to wear my hair down. These vinyl pants bring out that trouble-maker side of my personality just with an added coolness. Luckily, I’m a lot more tame now.

BEAUTIFULLY CHAOTIC

We were lucky with weather in Oahu. We had plenty of sun and just this one rain day, and honestly, it was even more beautiful, especially in the rustic North Shore. There’s an intensity by the sea on a rain day. Chaotic and full of energy. Surfers were still out, doing their thing. The beauty of Hawaii is the ease in its lifestyle. I didn’t have to change out of a bikini once.

AT THE CONFIDANTE, MIAMI

I really did fall in love with The Confidante hotel in Miami. I have been to Miami numerous times for work, but that means I am usually in town for only a night or two, with little to no free time! It was amazing to actually see this wild city on a proper holiday for the very first time. To have slow mornings. To actually sunbathe. To sit and enjoy sunset. There really is something about waking up to the ocean. These images were shot on my trusty Leica Q2. It really is the best travel partner that never ceases to amaze me. Making a moment always feel extraordinary.
