I am serving up my favorite sweet treats on Kate Spade plates! Lately, I am keeping things close to home, and this is how summer is looking for me so far. Who knew a picnic basket could double as my favorite purse? I’ve got the cherries. The pie. The fruits. Kate Spade brings on the sunshine yet again.
I took my Audi R8 to Montauk this summer, and boy does this baby vrrooom fast. Summer never feels complete without a car and the open road. You just feel free, unstoppable, and more excited to explore than ever before. I was out east for a weekend work trip…but managed to squeeze in a ton of R&R. Montauk is a place I’ve been going to for years, but this time, it felt new, exciting, and special. With the usual stops, like dinner at Crow’s Nest and countless hours in the roman baths at Gurney’s, I also ventured out to Sag Harbor. We sailed away in a friend’s boat called The Kiwi in Sag Harbor out to the beautiful untouched shores of Gardiner’s Island. Some of the most peaceful beaches are out East…as are the memories.

These happen to be some my favorite images from my latest campaign for Hunter Boots and it was all about hot, hot, heat. Hunter does chic, waterproof, outerwear unlike anyone else. In NYC, we get our muggy thunderstorms, rain, and cloudy skies. On the other side of the spectrum, we get the scorching hot sun and beautiful blue skies. With NYFW quickly approaching, I’m picturing perfect 75 degree weather, made for full days out on our feet, sashaying to the catwalk. But no matter what, this city girl is always prepared…with a pocket full of sunshine.
I was never one to shy away from color. The more vibrant, the better. And nope, this isn’t a dress. Simply a skirt and one of my favorite crop tops, sashaying through the tree-lined sidewalks of Bryant Park. The colors here are a mix of Brazil meets All-Americana. Stripes and abstract shapes that blend perfectly with the strong color, red. Pretty unexpected huh? Being back in NYC, and gearing up for September NYFW, always gets me thinking: “how did summer go by so fast?”
