GIRLY BUT NOT THAT GIRLY

// Frame x Carlyle cap, Self-Portrait dress, Pedro Garcia x Amlul shoes, Delvaux handbag //

Currently wearing this Frame x the Carlyle hotel baseball cap just about everywhere. I can’t wait to show you Team Suarez’s shoot for that campaign on VOGUE. One of my favorites really. And honestly, I get stopped and asked about this cap every time on the street. It’s that classic! I wear it on off duty days in the city, or here, with a form fitting ribbed dress by my friends at Self-Portrait. I’m girly, but I’m not that girly.

BRINGING BACK THE 60’S

// John Hardy jewelry, Unreal fur coat, The Great Eros bandeau bra, Sandro Paris trouser, Tamara Mellon boots //

Hair and makeup by Henry de la Paz

Photographed by Dylana Lim Suarez

There’s something special about the 60’s. A time and style that can never be recreated. Team Suarez and I took inspiration and gave it a modern feel right here in my home of Dumbo, Brooklyn. We’re talking teased hair, black smoky eye shadow, and the perfect oversized coat. I am always one to time travel to the past when it comes to getting dressed. How about you?

90’S WEEKEND ATTITUDE

// VHNY cropped sweatshirt, Uniqlo jeans, Vintage Chanel backpack, H&M Studio earrings, Reike Nen loafers //

The perfect weekend ensemble. Inspired by the 90’s. Extremely comfortable. Totally wicked. Weekends for me are spent mostly in and around my neighborhood of Dumbo, Brooklyn. I don’t like to travel far on my days off. You can mostly find me browsing the Dumbo flea market for a good vintage blazer, or right here, at the Photoville art instillation that is showcasing alongside our parks and piers. There’s always something new to discover here and my weekend attitude is purely playful. Like here, dancing as the sun goes down under the Manhattan bridge, or using all of my energy out on my bicycle. Once Saturday hits, I get to wipe off the makeup and put on my comfy clothes. Give it a little glamour with a giant sparkling earring. This is a look that helps me ease into the perfect weekend of fun.

A LITTLE BIT COUNTRY

// Preen dress (similar), Ming Ray handbag, Frye boots //

I think Dolly Parton would really love these boots. I’ve been listening to a lot of Dolly lately. Like “9 to 5” and “Jolene.” Her songs never get old, really. I dedicate this look to her, the coolest country girl ever. This is a look I would have thrown together on a Barbie doll as a kid. It’s just that playful. Nothing really goes, yet goes perfectly. I’m glad I can play life size Barbie anytime I want now.
