Modeling since the age of 15, Natalie Lim Suarez has been a notable figure in the fashion industry for years. Based in NYC, she is 1/2 Chinese, 1/4 Spanish, and 1/4 Mexican. With her passion for photography, creative direction, design, music, writing, modeling, and style, NATALIE OFF DUTY was born. Completely inspired by the "model off duty" on-the-go lifestyle. Sharing her stories, inspirations, and projects through her own photography and writing. Already noted for her winning fans in Harper's Bazaar UK, featured editorials in ELLE, and WWD for her "Good Taste." Along with campaigns and ambassadorships to top fashion and beauty brands from around the world. Some including COACH, DKNY, L'oreal Paris, Saks 5th Avenue, Sunglass Hut, Levis, and Nordstrom. Her eclectic, unique style has launched many successful design collaborations sold in top retailers around the world. Next to fashion, Natalie's other passion is music. I love reconnecting with my roots with every single trip to Mexico. So far we’ve hit up the eclectic scene and beaches of Tulum along with the incredible food and history we found in Mexico City, where my grandfather is from. For this very much needed girl’s trip, we planned an escape to the stunning property of the St. Regis Punta Mita. It feels extra private, and we felt like we could unplug the moment we walked into our villa. It was exactly what we were looking for! Hidden behind large gates, Punta Mita is like it’s own little world. Punta Mita actually means “gateway to paradise” in Aztec. We were in town to shoot a few summer campaigns, but we still managed to plop down on a lounge chair, hit up the spa, get massages, and do our nightly ritual, soak in the hot tub after dinner. I honestly don’t find anything more relaxing than hearing the sounds of the waves as I crawl into bed each night. I’ve stayed at a few of the St. Regis properties around the world for work, like earlier this year in Rome with the Fendi team! What I love most is how each property stays so true to the local heritage from the architecture to the food. Guacamole please! But honestly, this was a real treat for us after what felt like the longest NYC winter of all time. Resort season is here and I can finally brush up on my Spanish.

I took our annual girls trip to Punta Mita, Mexico and we kept our wardrobe really, really easy. Our go-to’s? Soft, baby blue denim from PAIGE. Summer is officially here and I ditched my NYC gear for more travel-friendly blues. To me, that always begins with denim. Something light. Something I can move in. Something I don’t mind getting down and dirty in the sand with. PAIGE’s summer collection is all about baby blue denim, so so soft to the touch, and washed to perfection. You’ll also find delicate floral prints, plenty of super soft lightweight jumpsuits, and lots of bum-hugging high waisted shorts. I stick to PAIGE classics year-round, but keep things fun and updated with an interesting twist like a fun raw hem or vintage-inspired pocket. There’s just something peaceful about endless tacos, margaritas, and sun-drenched denim on the beach with your three amigos. This is the best way to kick off summer.
