I really do think that some of the best flats in the world come from Jimmy Choo. It’s the classic designs and stunning craftsmanship that keeps me going back to Jimmy Choo at Saks Fifth Avenue for more. It’s rare I find heels or luxurious leather flats that don’t need breaking in…they’re really made that well. I took two of my favorite shoe designs to the streets of Brooklyn. The Genna flats and Layton velvet flats along with the new Jimmy Choo embellished Candy clutch. The collection’s luxurious patent leathers and bold velvets are like a fresh breath of air against the gritty streets of Bushwick.

A BURST OF SUNSHINE in the Genna flat and Candy clutch:

Cropped flared jeans are a must for fall…and look best with a bare ankle and flats. I went with loud prints and eccentric details. 70’s star power indeed. Sometimes the most unexpected combinations exude so much cool.

GOING COLORFUL in the Jimmy Choo Layton flat and Candy Bag

The moment I slipped on my new Jimmy Choo Layton flats, I felt like a princess. They’re dainty, with a beautiful pointed toe, and the perfect delicate straps. I paired it with something equally as royal as this sheer floral dress. Sure I do lean towards those really feminine statement pieces…but with a little shake of messy hair, I’m immediately brought back down to earth.

pump7resizedTraveling circus. Traveling band. That get up, and get out of town, eclectic look. Your favorite fur oversize coat. Fringed leather miniskirt. And you can’t separate a girl from her best friend: her Jimmy Choos. It’s all about throwing on anything and everything and owning it. But it’s all in the hat. This baby was customized in Venice Beach by the incredible Nick Fouquet. I’ve always wanted a perfectly squared top hat, complete with a burnt brim and a match stick. So so clever, and it turned out wicked. Everyday is another reason to dress up. Even if I’m at home on a Sunday, it STILL feels good to put on a pair of heels…though it makes me over 6 feet. But whatever, nobody’s watching.
