Finding the perfect pair of jeans really does feel like you’ve found gold. It’s a treasure and takes time and patience. Tu es mon Tresor jeans are just as their name states…the jean you treasure and wear over and over again, creating stories and memories in that you’ll never forget. Sisterhood of the traveling pants anyone? I fell in love with the brands premium fabrics and perfect way of hugging the bum. I got myself three pairs, they are that good. Give it a kitten heel and a bow in your hair. Done. Time to head to my favorite family bakery in Chinatown and only because I want to show off how good I feel in these jeans.

This is a portrait of a red lip. Something so classic and elegant, it will never go out of style. Just like how a crisp white men’s shirt remains a staple in my wardrobe. This Estée Lauder matte red lip in Fearless makes me feel just that. Some of my earliest memories go back to being a little girl, trying on my mother’s Estée lipsticks. I clearly remember their scent, the deep red hues, and how powerful they made me feel. It’s funny how a shade of lipstick can completely transform the vision of oneself and let us imagine. And that is discovering our inner beauty. We’re the beholders. This has become my easy work-from-home-Zoom-meeting-sans-trousers look because why not. Who is with me?

What I love most about being a part of the UGG #FEELLOVE campaign is it’s focus on appreciation and gratitude. The little things always happen to be the important things in life. I find comfort and love in my UGG boots just as much as I find comfort and love in my real life hero, Dylana. I am so appreciative of our sisterhood and unique bond now more than ever before. In a year of uncertainty, I find certainty and love in family. Instead of getting comfortable, we get uncomfortable and watch each other grow together as a team, and as individuals. I grow when I focus on what feels good, what brings me joy, and what brings me love. I find love in the giving that comes with sisterhood. I find love in creating beauty out of nothing. I find love and gratitude with the shoes on my feet. Feeling appreciation for all the little things in life, like sisterly love, has changed me for the better.

It’s funny how a masculine, oversize suit can actually make me feel more of a woman. It’s empowering to feel sexy and gentle  in something that’s meant to feel tough and strong. I promise you…you do not need to show a lot of skin to feel sexy or beautiful. I took this perfect cashmere turtleneck, a lovely holiday gift from my friends at rag & bone, out to the beach to listen to the seagulls and set my intentions for the new year. The cool breeze and the sea sparkle inspires me to slow down and pay attention to my thoughts. Remember, your thoughts are powerful and so are you. Go where the wind blows you this year.
