More photos of my journey here in New York City. It’s been hot and pretty wet so I’ve been wearing a lot of dresses and denim shorts. The shorts and blouse are vintage while the black lace dress, one of my favorites, is by Wren! It’s crazy, it definitely feels like summer, but once I went to Brooklyn Heights, it looked like Fall! The parks were covered in leaves, it was cloudy, and just so beautiful and calming. Brooklyn Heights is one of my favorite places ever. It has such gorgeous Brownstone apartments and is very close to the water. I’ve been trying a lot of different foods here as well. My sister and I tried a new Indian restaurant in Greenwich and it was incredible. Frothy boba teas are kind of my weakness! We also grabbed Pho Vietnamese soup with the awesome Lisa of Leeselooks. She’s bundles of fun and I’m so happy to finally have met her in person! There is so much to do here, so much to see. I feel I’m beginning to know the subway system and all the areas very well. I’m enjoying every minute! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! I plan on just relaxing in a nearby park, hitting up some museums, and continuing my food tour around the city!

I am so in love with New York! Everyday consists of taking subway and walking all the cute little streets and getting the chance to eat different foods. There are so many great restaurants! So far, I’m constantly craving Bleecker’s Best Pizza and Karahi Indian food in the Greenwich Village. Oh and not to mention, the amazing red velvet cupcakes over at Magnolia Bakery. You can pretty much find me at that small park by the bakery every night. It’s like my new favorite place to just sit and relax after a long day. Yesterday, my sister and I ventured over to Central Park which was absolutely beautiful. The weather has still been hot and sticky, but definitely not as bad as it was before. There was some really beautiful, soft light so we took a few photos there! I’ve been trying to dress lightly because the heat is crazy, especially when you’re waiting for the subway. The black sheer blouse is H&M and the pink dress if vintage Ramona West (another favorite vintage piece of mine). And about those sandals you guys want to know about. They are Cole Haan and I’ve been living in them everyday. I love them because they look good with just about anything!

I’ve created a Twitter as well here in New York! Follow my updates 🙂

Here are some more shots taken around Philadelphia! I’m wearing a vintage Ramona West floral dress, vintage bag, and Cole Haan sandals. As you can tell, the streets of Philly are so old and cute. They have so much charm! That is what I love about the East Coast. Everything is so green and pretty with rustic old buildings. In between shooting, we went to this really good restaurant called “Holly’s.” They have the best Tuna salad sandwich I’ve ever tried! Go there if you’re ever in Philly. I did get to try some Philly Cheese Steak, but it was in the form of an eggroll. Interesting mix, but so so good! The last few shots were from the shoot and our nightly group dinners. Thank you Georgia for the pics! I’m super excited that Rumi from Fashion Toast and Georgia from Dora’s Fur will also be a part of the catalog! Such sweet stylish ladies! The last shot was taken at the Free People offices while we were reviewing the catalog and making the setup. It was such a fun morning! Probably some of the coolest East Coast girls ever…and they all have such cute style! It was the first time I’ve ever visited Philadelphia and I can’t wait to visit again 🙂

Below are some photos from New York!! I’m flaunting my Hudson Jeans tote. I got to meet up with the girls over at Hudson Jeans here in New York. We went to breakfast at the lovely Balthazar restaurant. I recommend getting the waffles w/ berries. So yummy! Then, we all headed back to the Hudson offices. I was totally wearing my Hudsons, until it got so hot that I ran into urban and quickly bought a dress to change into. But I can’t wait to show you the new Hudson styles!

I spent the last week in Philadelphia shooting the October Free People catalog! They really wanted to capture my own personal style and vibe so it was all shot by my sister Dylana and styled by us. The photos turned out so awesome, I cannot wait till they printed. The catalog is going to look so amazing! I had the best time working with everyone at Free People. It was so much fun! And I am so in love with the city. Philadelphia has so much history and it was fun visiting all the major landmarks. I love the old buildings and cobble stone streets. Philadelphia is now so hip and quirky with the cutest little restaurants and vintage shops. I spent one of my days off walking the entire city. I’m surprised at how much ground we covered that day. It was pretty humid and warm so I tried to stay cool in a silk vintage top and shorts. I tend to stick to basics when traveling, but I did realize I definitely overpacked! I have so many more photos from my stay in Philadelphia that I will have to go through and post next time. I’m currently in New York having a ball. Everyone over at Hudson Jeans encouraged me to create a twitter so I finally created one today!
