Lingerie Soufflé. Yep, it’s Skin Perfecting Color by Stila Cosmetics. Light like lingerie. Whipped like soufflé. It’s the first time I’ve used something that doubles as a translucent veil with advanced pigments and particles that blur and even my skin. It’s makeup that doesn’t look like makeup. This is my go-to day look. A super subtle cat eye with a liquid liner, and one of my favorite new products, liquid eyeshadow. I use liquid eyeshadow to just dab on over traditional eyeshadow for a little hint of sparkle. That along with a pinched cheek and soft lip feels youthful. This look just feels fresh, fresh, fresh!

I was just in London with the Armani Beauty team for the launch of Armani Beauty’s Face Fabric foundation. This mousse-like nude foundation is completely weightless. I love when my makeup doesn’t feel like makeup. Shade 2 is the perfect fit for me…as are these Emporio Armani jeans. Our studio for the Face Fabric shoot was amazing. Talk about one killer set in the middle of Shoreditch, London. Everything was larger than life….from the Face Fabric customized bottles (they were even taller than me!) and foundation sponges that also doubled as pillows. It was like stepping into my very own vanity. A true makeup playground. The Face Fabric foundation is beautiful, clean, and simple. Like I said, it’s so soft and light, that the closest thing I can describe it to is a mousse-like foundation. The  texture is made to be applied with your fingers. For the shoot, I went with my best blue jeans and an oversize white shirt with a classic Emporio Armani stiletto. My makeup was extra fresh. It’s all about showing off smooth, healthy, even skin. I had a soft bronze smoky eye and an orange/red lip. I now keep the Armani Beauty Face Fabric foundation in my bag at all times, especially when I travel. I just got back to NYC from Nicaragua and it’s all I wore on the beach and everywhere in between. It’s amazing for my skin. Face Fabric comes in 12 different shades so you’re bound to find the perfect fit!

As for when I as off set and off duty, I spent my days at the Rosewood Hotel. Dylana and I had the most beautiful suite, making the most of our bubbling hot tub and delicious breakfasts in bed! And you may have noticed this vanity…just as amazing as studio light. It’s the most epic spot to find your perfect shade. Besides thoroughly enjoying our lovely hotel, I made sure to eat my way through most of Central London. Think late night dinners with the team for fish and chips at Sketch in Mayfair and a classic English high tea over at the stunning Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge. The fashion version of course…we literally ate cookies the shape of Armani trench coats. Having my base at The Rosewood was a dream. Until next time Armani Beauty! This season, I have been working on numerous new video campaigns…for Emilio Pucci, Gucci, H&M, Armani Beauty, and so much more. I find video and film to be my new way of storytelling. I love taking up that extra challenge to create some magic in movement. Team Suarez has been so busy in the editing department these days, but we’re having so much fun doing it. Brainstorming. Styling. Location-scouting. We played around and made a beautiful mess with paint in the studio for Emilio Pucci’s Monochromes collection. We brought the fairytale world of Gucci x Unskilled Worker to the super cool streets of my neighborhood of Dumbo, Brooklyn. We ruffled around the house, getting ready for a surprise holiday party with H&M Holiday. We travelled to Milan Fashion Week in search of pasta, glammed out in Armani Beauty’s Ecstasy Shine lipstick (my color is #401 red). These are some pieces of my favorite work to date. 2017, you’ve been amazing, motivating, and inspiring. Bring it on 2018.

I spend a ton of time at my home workspace when I’m actually in town. I tend to travel every other week, so when I am back home, getting work done, I like my space to be minimal, eclectic, and extra cozy. My desktop was in need of it’s own separate space…and for me, with my camera equipment and mood boards, I needed a big desk. A big desk for me to sketch, to write, to really zone in on my work and my editing. I immediately went to Joybird because of their sleek, vintage-inspired design. Modern Mid-Century is an ongoing theme in my home. My Dumbo, Brooklyn home is super lofty, so I like to keep it’s raw, industrial feel. Wood with metal accents, and little pops of bold color. Meet my new Joybird “Holland” desk.

Running a website definitely requires a ton of time at my desk, so it had to be perfect. A spot that allows me to be extra organized. The less clutter, the better. Having a clean workspace helps me focus and keep on top of my hectic schedule as I’m always in and out the door. There are some days it’s covered with product for projects I’m working on, clothes slung across the chair, and other days you’ll find endless cups of coffee as my editor and I dig through upcoming content late into the night. This time around, I’ve spent a little extra time to clean it up for you. There’s still a bit of a kid in me, hence the really adorable red swivel chair. I have gathered quite a few Joybird pieces in my home. Their Midcentury Modern pieces are luxurious and extremely well-made. Joybird is known for their ability to customize and their ability to work with every color of the rainbow…their shop always leaves me wanting more. Their gorgeous wood furniture are always like pieces of art.

I am officially a lipstick junkie. As I dig through my beauty drawers, I found 3 amazing shades to wear for the rest of summer. A pinkish-brown lip pencil, a sorbet orange tint, an iridescent stick that goes over any color you choose. All so different, yet all amazing with a bare face. I skipped foundation this day in my house…just a few swipes of concealer and highlighter to get me camera ready. Just as any French girl would do. All my life I have been shopping at Macy’s. I can find a Macy’s in just about any city I travel to and I can always trust that what I’ll be shopping is fantastic. My go-to section in-store and online? Impulse Contemporary. So it was super exciting to hear I’d be the face for this campaign. I gravitate towards Macy’s Impulse due to it’s brands for cheeky tee’s, incredible denim, and perfect summer dresses. I’m talking about brands like Sanctuary, Rachel Rachel Roy, Max Studio London, Articles of Society, Suburban Riot, and William Rast. Each brand is elevated in their own way, yet still extremely comfortable and effortless. Impulse Contemporary has curated their shop to fit my forever evolving summer style.

Here we’re featuring my ultimate summer staple: a bomber jacket. A bit tomboy, a bit rock n’ roll. Super California cool. I’m totally low-maintenance when it comes to style, and I feel that’s what Impulse is all about. Being about to mix n’ match romantic dresses with tough, tomboy outerwear. Feeling free wherever you go, and completely comfortable in your own skin. Like Los Angeles, it’s all about being chill. Finding that perfect pair of white denim that goes with everything in your wardrobe. Grabbing that super simple twin-set for any night of the week. Laid back and practical just happens to be my thing. It’s part of my California upbringing. “Off Duty” style is meant to be completely fuss-free. I can’t live without a tee-shirt and easy pair of leather sandals for morning walks to the beach in my hometown of Los Angeles. But there’s something about Downtown LA that reminds me of my now home of NYC, with still that incredible cool, relaxed feel that California is known for combined with an exciting and innovating Art District, style, and scene. I swooned over our pop of pink backdrops and rays of sunlight at magic hour. Every photographer’s dream now isn’t it?! Downtown keeps me on my toes with all of it’s new coffee shops and killer restaurants. I can’t wait to go back and see what’s new next. For now, contemporary trends from Macy’s Impulse have completely set the tone for my summer. Plaid tank dresses, embroidered jackets, and high waisted denim shorts. Now just give me a little bit more sun and I’m good to go.

The wardrobe on set for my Nordstrom shoot immediately got me daydreaming and playing out the scenarios in my head. I was overwhelmed with excitement! Oh, and of course, I began planning out the outfits I would be wearing. It’s Cuba, so there will obviously be lots of dancing…dominoes…Cuban coffee…espresso…hours on the beach with a good book! It’s time to make use of my Español. I picture fringe, lots of it! Flared denim. Bold red shoes. A perfect little black dress. Crop tops. Embroidered sandals. I’m thinking color, and lots of it. Hair, wild and big! Earrings and necklaces, bold and oversize! Cuba is known for it’s individuality, slow pace, and beautiful colors. It’s like taking a step back in time. My inner Latina is having a ball as I mentally prepare. Be right back, this girl’s got a salsa dancing class to take and a plane to catch.
