DOOBLE APP// BRUNCH TIME

Featuring DOOBLE app
(UNIF hat, Joe’s Jean coat, RVCA overalls, Johnny Was blouse (similar), Modern Vice + Free People “arianna” JETT boots, By Boe choker, Vanessa Mooney necklace, Fabiola Pedrazzini handbag)
Dylana and I are always on the go, and sometimes we honestly don’t have time to think of drinks or dinner plans. We like to just get dressed, be spontaneous, and GO! Oh, but I can never make the decision of where to go or what we’ll do!! In the midst of getting dressed… my closet overflowing, tossing shirts here and there, my shoes in one big pile (ended up in all black of course)….the easist thing to do is go on my new favorite app, DOOBLE, as I’m getting ready, and right away, I can connect with Dylana and book a time to meet, the distance we want to travel, and either choose “Drinks”, “Event”, or “Adventure”. Drinks at your favorite restaurant, going to that surprise killer event/concert in your city, or adventuring through that art gallery you’ve always wanted to visit. It caters to your profile! You always start with $20 before you arrive at the place Dooble sets you up with! This time, I set a 1pm Sunday “Drinks” with Dylana, within 20 miles distance, and VOILA, we had a reservation for us at TUTU’s in Brooklyn for drinks! Of course, wherever Dooble takes you, you’re going to love. Always the chicest places in the city…oh, and I LOVE LOVE that it’s always a new place to discover! We played more on the app and invited our friends to join this amazing new app over the perfect burger and mimosa.
Now, within our crazy last-minute schedules, we’ll always have a place to go…and take a friend along with us.
It’s super simple to use and free!

CHRISTMAS PAST

(10 Crosby by Derek Lam dress, Joe’s Jeans brocade coat and lace top, BC Footwear shoes, W Concept hat)
The arctic cold has been coming closer and closer and with it comes extra long knit sweater dresses, black on black, and furry hats! I do in a way miss the holidays…the rows of Christmas trees covered in snowflakes and all of the twinkling lights…but I’m actually okay with things being completely back to normal. I feel more focused and so in the swing of things…the never ending excitement and work after a long break. This is one of my favorite looks from the holidaze. A brocade coat, a little bit of Victorian lace peeking out from under my dress, and of course…the black and white creepers. The best for an intense snow day. Shot just before we took off for our cabin, and just before I surprised my boyfriend with our own cute mini Christmas tree! Ours still happens to be sitting pretty just by our couch, the mistletoe still hanging, the tinsel forever glowing. Everyday I say “today we have to take our tree down!” And still, I can’t. Jordan always says…”let’s do it tomorrow.” He can’t bear to let go of the little thing, and all the good memories that comes with Christmas past…

CABIN FEVER

(MINKPINK faux fur coat and skirt, Chaser Brand “Fender” top, Soxiety socks, Manitobah x Free People moccasins)
I’m currently in upstate New York, wrapped in a blanket by the fireplace of our cabin and watching the light snow fall heavier and heavier onto our balcony. Our secret destination this time? Lake Placid! I can’t even begin to describe this dreamy trip. I just don’t want to leave! Playing The Brain Jonestown Massacre and The Nationals albums on the whole 5 hour drive up, bundled in a huge furry coat, my boyfriend and I just couldn’t wait to get there. We love heading out so far out of town, that you lose cell service and all you have is the open road, good music, and mountains to lust over during the whole ride. I packed a ton of prints, and textures. And of course, a KILLER pair of Manitobah “Storyboot” moccassins, a wonderful upstate gift from Free People. I kept them in the backseat of our car, knowing I’d live in them inside the cabin. It’s a boot I’ve always wanted. It’s the softest, must luxurious, COOLEST warm thing to put on your feet. Im seriously addicted. I very much felt like an eskimo these past days. Blending into the warm tones and colors of our wood-covered abode. Christmas trees and lights every way you turn inside the lodge. Snow covered trees in every direction outside our windows. In fear of catching real cabin fever, we went bowling…we went ice skating out by the woods over a lake…and I spent hours by the hot tub, looking out to the snow. Talk about a real, beautiful white Christmas. I felt completely at peace snuggled on the couch, movies on repeat, with absolutely no schedule for the day. I needed a vacation and this was just too perfect of a getaway to pass up. A true winter wonderland dream come to life. I’ve got loads more to show you from our upstate adventures. Stay tuned, and happy holidays my babes!

CACTUS CALIFORNIA

It’s on a foggy and grey NYC day that I miss California. It’s sunshine, and hills, and ocean, and cactus, and mountains, and oh, did I mention sunshine?! In the winter, it feels I’m always flying to sunny California for work. As everyone is scared to shoot in the middle of the NYC cold, and migrates somewhere warm and tropical…where tanks and shorts are allowed on set. Here’s a little behind-the- scenes peek at my Somedays Lovin’ fall ’14 campaign, featuring my lovely sister Dylana and boyfriend, Jordan. A park with rows and rows of travel trailors…the glorious Airstreamer, decked out to perfection. Shredded light blue overalls, the perfect ivory sweater dress, and classic pink coat. I can’t wait to show you more from this rad campaign. The rustic setting made everything all the more complete. A bit western, and a whole lot of grunge! My time in California went by fast, straight into Thanksgiving before getting back on a plane. Still, I wish I could spend a good month or so there. A girl needs a vacation every once in a while! During my downtown, I drove down the coast just to overlook Malibu at sunset. The best view you could ever imagine. Always taking my breath away. It looks like I’ll be spending the first time away from home this Christmas.

Stay tuned on my next travel adventures!
