TO COLD SPRING IN THE AUDI RS3

As a New Yorker, it’s so important to get out of the city, and drive. I’m an LA girl, born and raised…we love being behind the wheel. It’s that freedom of being able to cruise, escape the chaos, and breath in the fresh country air. Having a car in the the city is the ultimate luxury. Meet the new Audi RS3, isn’t it a beauty? This baby just launched in the US for the first time. My absolute dream car. It has just the right amount of space for packing in my friends, just enough room for luggage, and still feels sporty and super chic. This car can really fly, literally going from 0-60 in literally 3.9 second! I love the way the engine roars when I press the Start button…Audi always makes me feel like I’m in a race car. Here, I did one night in Cold Spring, in upstate New York with my sister. We were ready for farm-to-table dishes, a spa day at our favorite apothecary, and a few moments to just soak in the gorgeous views. Like they always say, “the road is better than the inn.” So here are a few of my favorite snapshots along the way.

FOR THE TALL LADIES PART 2!

Hey tall ladies! Part 2 of my Long Tall Sally x Karl Lagerfeld Paris capsule collection photoshoot is here! Finally, there are pants and leggings and beautiful, delicate gowns that fit us tall lades with our extra long limbs. Being 5’10” means being super careful with how I shop online. Normally, I study the size guides to make sure my pants are long enough, and that dresses have that little inch or two in length so that the fit is perfect on me. Long Tall Sally has made shopping so much easier. I know that their sizing is spot-on for my tall frame, so you can’t image how excited I was to be the face for their extra chic new Karl Lagerfeld Paris capsule collection. I love the pearl accents, clean silhouettes, and attention to the little details in each piece. When it gets chilly, I always lean towards head-to-toe black ensembles. It’s classic and effortless. French simplicity, perfected. Nubby black sweaters and leather pants. Embellished cocktail dresses that really accentuate our elongated frame. Then, there is the ultimate oversize black coat, roomy enough to layer over a chunky knit. This collection make getting dresses for fall a breeze…and fits like a glove.

In the fall and winter, I spend a lot more time in my workout gear. Fall for evening runs. Winter for the gym…my favorite place to keep warm during a snowstorm. Therefore, I am constantly on the hunt for absolutely killer workout gear. Meet NO KA’OI, a super chic workout line that pushed boundaries in their eclectic, unique design. And guess what?! Their new collection just launched at Barneys, my top destination in discovering elevated and  emerging brands. Tracksuits with a rainbow down the side?! Count me in. INSIDE THE HOLA! OCTOBER/NOVEMBER ISSUE!

My editorial for HOLA! magazine‘s October/November 2017 issue is officially here…and 4 pages eeek! Gracias HOLA! team for the incredible feature. I’m so proud to be Latina…to represent such an amazing and lively culture. We’re fire-y…we literally love our spices and we can spend all night on the dance floor. There’s still so much of my family history that I’m just being more in tune with. There are still so many places I need to visit. Speaking of culture, now is such an important time to embrace our diversity. To accept everyone as they are, to travel, to get to taste different parts of the world. That’s what I love about my job…I get to meet amazing people from all over, like here on set. Which reminds me, time to really brush up on my español.
