GUCCI X IGNASI MONREAL

Gucci has partnered up with Spanish illustrator, Ignasi Monreal, taking the House motifs and making it completely his own. Ignasi Monreal uses digital painting tools to bring pop culture to ironic portraits, creating a true conversation piece printed on my two favorite Gucci essentials, the tee and sweatshirt. How cute is this cat in a teacup?! I actually have a friend with the exact same fluffy cat, and it’s name is “Gucci.” A truly glamorous Upper West Side cat that loves the luxurious life. I’m so excited that Dylana and I were asked to bring this super fun and wearable collection to life, and during the best time…December in sunny Los Angeles, where the weather is just fine enough to rock a tee-shirt. Dylana and I hit the streets of Venice Beach, our birthplace, and also the original birthplace of both hot pink, and the fanny pack. All that’s missing are my rollerblades and headphones as I cruise past Muscle Beach.

THE NEW COUNTRY

Is this not the most beautiful meadow you’ve ever seen? England, you’re so dreamy. Here we are at Soho Farm House… one of the most remote and secluded properties of all of Soho House out in Great Tew, Oxfordshire… about 2 hours from the city of London. Think classic barns-turned-restaurants. Romantic little cabins in the open field. A steamy indoor/outdoor pool to decompress in. Boat rides through the fog. And then one gorgeous cottage perched perfectly beside this very meadow. Now this is how a home away from home should look like…a private place to unplug and get away from it all…no social media allow #truth. As for getting dressed for a weekend in the country, simply layer and match your surroundings. Shirts under dresses. Shirts under vests. Socks and sandals. M Missoni does a killer job once again for our winter 2017 photoshoot. At this point in time, I was traveling every single week, and time was flying by like the speed of light. It’s nice to step back this holiday season, and finally get to see all the beauty we created shooting on location along with the stories and memories. We’d slip on our clogs to fetch our freshly made milk and cookies, plucked flowers in our oversize wool totes, and danced in what felt like the middle of nowhere. For now, stay warm and keep on dreaming lovebugs.

SET YOUR SIGHTS | LENSCRAFTERS X MICHAEL KORS

Opticals are the new accessory come fall, whether you’re near sighted, far sighted, or simply just love the look. Lenscrafters now carries the latest from Michael Kors and they come in all shapes and sizes. Square? Aviator? Tortoise? Rose gold? Silver? A style for every girl. I took these babies out to a few pre-holiday parties this season to switch up my look, and not going to lie, but that feeling of looking extra sharp in a pair of glasses felt right on point for party season. These dazzle even more with the best of holiday sparkles, like the ones on my blazer and dress. ‘Tis the season to dress up your eyewear! Or just have your eyewear speak for themselves. Even though I don’t actually need help with my vision anymore, I still can’t help but fall for the added character and witty charm that a pair of glasses adds to a look. Eyewear is the easiest way for me to switch up my look in a hot second. It’s expressive accessorizing. Forget looking like Harry Potter, these are a lot more Harvard meets Vogue approved.
