70’S INSPIRED ATHLEISURE | NO KA’ OI

I think I have the most fun when it comes to athleisure. NO KA’ OI mixes the spirit of Hawaii with incredible Italian-made design and quality. Here I am taking my nightly stretch in the most sick workout look I own. I’m in love with the 70’s inspired colors and stripes complete a futuristic, elegant touch. Check out that puffed sleeve and sleek silver shine. I don’t think you get more editorially high fashion when it comes to going to the gym. So brilliant. I might be home stretching out those sore muscles and doing yoga in my living room, but honestly, I can’t wait to take this top and style it up for fashion week. Who else thinks it’s a good idea?! I love when athleisure/workout gear can easily transform into something I can take to the street. NO KA’OI, you surprise me every single season.

PICKED UP AT ANTHOM | YUNE HO RESORT 2018

The sun sure was beaming on the glamorous roof of the Waldorf Astoria this quiet Wednesday afternoon. Everything from the lounge chairs to the floors were white, making this clean landscape one of the most coveted spots in all of Los Angeles. The views were insane. I was just so excited to be back in my hometown, in 80 degree weather, with a whole afternoon by the pool. More excited to finally expose some leg! I’ll tell you more about my recent press trip back in LA, but let’s start with this outfit. It’s something I fall in love with the more I wear it. My best friend is a co-founder at ANTHOM (find their store at 25 Mercer Street). Every time I step into their bright gorgeous floor plan, I’m inspired to start fresh with a more curated, minimal wardrobe. They’ve always had a focus on quality versus quantity. I scooped up this incredible jacket and skirt combination from Yune Ho‘s Resort 2018 collection. He is one of my favorite designers at ANTHOM…always so classic with a close attention to detail. A slightly oversized shoulder and cropped hem makes this piece anything but your ordinary tweed jacket. I think I’ll be filling my closet more with these soft, powdery, pastel colors. It’s the most perfect, clean palette to start off the new year with.

100% PINK SILK

I am doing a quick flash back to one of my most photographed looks this past fashion week. Head-to-toe pink. 100% silk. All by Sachin + Babi, masters of the chic off-shoulder look. This is one look you can take to either a breakfast meeting or a red carpet event…it’s that good. Aladdin-esque puffed sleeves and pants so wide and long, you have to wear your highest platform heels and delicately hop over puddles. Though I’m having a very glamorous moment here on the blog, I actually just landed back in NYC after a quick press trip in Los Angeles. Yep, crazy travel for work has just begun. For now, I’m fully embracing today’s bed head, second cup of coffee, and my favorite OOTD, a pair of silk pajamas. I’m having one of those real life days to organize and update my calendar. Team Suarez is going to be in Paris next week for another amazing project, so this weekend is one to catch up on work before we take off once again. Who else is so ready to hit the snooze button?!
