Vroom Vroom! What better way to celebrate The Ritz-Carlton coming to Mexico City in 2020 than at this year’s Formula 1 race? The Ritz-Carlton has partnered with Mercedes AMG Petronas to give us exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to the race! Traveling the world with The Ritz-Carlton has been a dream, and it feels extra special to go somewhere so close to my heart. My grandfather was born and raised in Mexico City, and all my life, I wanted to discover this very large city that is a huge part of my roots. Naturally, I am drawn to the city’s colorful streets, music, and flavorful spices. Mexico City feels like one big familia. I could really feel the heartbeat of it here at the Formula 1 racetracks. You could see how much love and teamwork goes into such a big event. It’s a pretty incredible sport that celebrates passion and togetherness. From the sounds of the mariachi band singing and dancing to the screeching cars going at lightning speed, this trip to Mexico City made me feel alive. You’ll want to come back more to discover more art and amazing culinary experiences like a cooking class at Sobremesa which we had the pleasure of doing so with Formula 1 driver Esteban Guttierez, or an inspiring walk through the Museo de Arte Moderno. There is art and new friendships to be made all around this city. It’s time I brush up on my Spanish before my next visit. And what better reason to come back than to visit the new The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City?

80’s GLAM | ANA LUISA JEWELRY
// Ana Luisa earrings, Ana Luisa necklace, Ronny Kobo dress //
I never leave the house without a pair of earrings or a necklace on. I like that feeling of having something subtle that immediately feels glamorous as soon as I put it on. My latest obsession is Ana Luisa jewelry’s marble earrings and pearl necklace. This NYC label is all about using high quality materials along with responsible production. These individually painted earrings feel both retro and artistic, a perfect compliment to a red hot patent leather dress like this one. It is currently the necklace that I never take off. It feels very personal to me. And it also feels very 80’s. The 80’s were all about boldness. In all 80’s movie, when is there not anyone rocking it on the dance floor? I like taking pieces of this and making them my own. My own personal disco ball.
FALL DRESSING BY THE SEA
// Equipment blazer and pant, Stine Goya sweater vest, Polo Ralph Lauren shirt, Pedro Garcia shoes, Daisy London earrings, Katie Mullally necklace //
There’s something magical about Montauk off-season. The beaches are quiet. The breeze allows me to wear my favorite sweater vest. I can sit on the balcony wrapped up on a blanket overlooking the waves in the sun. It’s crazy to think fall is really here and summer is over. My sister snapped up these images at the lighthouse. It’s been a while since I’ve shot a black and white series. The wind, the suit, and the waves seem more dramatic without any color. Even more beautiful. Funny enough, all l I remember was just how bright blue the water was, glaring back at me that day.
NYFW NIGHTS SEPTEMBER 2019
// Lie Sang Bong gown, Chanel bag, Amina Muaddi heels //
The SUAREZ SISTERS definitely danced their way through NYFW! I found myself in a glittering Lie Sang Bong gown for Harper’s Bazaar ICONS, a fitted velvet midi dress at the Shopbop pop-up party, and a classic black suit (my go-to) for the Rag + Bone show. When it gets dark, I let all sides of my personality come out. It could be a smoking black eyeshadow or a statement red lip. Whatever mood it may be, make it fierce.
