Right when I got back to NYC, it’s right smack dab in the middle of New York FASHION WEEK! Running to Lincoln early for shows, all while throwing together a quick look in the morning. Luckily, I have these darling babes to plan the days with, and get a little crazy. Some of my show favorties? Rebecca Taylor, Herve Ledger (shown above), and Tracy Reese (I love colorful clothes and a playlist I can dance in my seat with).  There are still SO many shows I can’t wait to go to this week. Anna Sui, Tory Burch, Saunder, and countless more that I’m hoping time even allows me to attend them all! Ever since I’ve come back home, I’ve kind of been re-living in my vintage part of my closet. The little lace blouse I’d always wear under a band tee. That striped blouse I picked up at a local LA garage sale. Dylana has been surprised to see me this weekend as the “old Natalie” as she says. I love getting to snuggle up into a little bit of my Natalie Off Duty history. Not sure what’s gotten into me…but I can’t seem to step away from my old favorites in a sea of shiny stilettos and new, fresh off the runway looks that no longer grab my attention. So I’ve got a major thing for these new Soludos shoes! Known for their espiradrilles that I wear religiously over the summer, they JUST came out with these amazing lace-ups…with a rubber bottom to wear everyday of the year. I’m obsessed. Oh, it’s pretty rad to be one of the first girls in the city to actually own these “sandshoe” puppies. In white canvas, stripes, floral…I have them in every single shade and I’m not embarrassed hehe! I wear them with everything really. Black skinnies and a band tee, tights and a mini dress in the winter, or mixing prints on prints, I wear these all around the city. I just got back from Seattle for work, and honestly, these are the only things I can sink into right now. They’re my little secret in city-survival. Here I played up the navy blue pair with a green denim jumper dress, and some oversize lace bell-sleeves. With a grey hat, my sister thought I came out of an African safari. I guess I’m okay with that.

This is totally something I’d re-wear again for Fashion Week. But it’s going to have to wait till this weekend! I’m currently in Seattle, shooting on location for the rest of this week, and today we’ve got a little bit of a later call-time so I’m snuggled in bed…and I’ve got my room service on it’s way. Oatmeal and coffee, overlooking the Seattle skyline. I love it here. Being completely surrounded by large pine-trees. Yesterday we shot in Bellevue…it was gorgeous, and I fell in love the woodsy/ Twilight vibe of the whole place. The fresh air is just what I need before getting back in NY groove! Here, I’m snapped by my NYC apartment, in one of my all time favorite For Love & Lemons dresses, just before it was about to start raining. The wind from the storm gave this stunner so much movement. I always pack this dress wherever I travel…just in case there’s time for a fun night out. See you back in NYC soon! xx

I don’t remember the last time I had one of those fantasticly broken-in ballet flats. I have a newfound love here with Anniel Moda in Italy…they’re like the real ballet shoes I’ve worn in dance class…but even more delicate and wayyy more appropriate for the streets of Williamsburg. How was you Labor Day? I brought my boyfriend to Brooklyn…to catch up with old friends and frolick in a teeny tiny vintage jumper and an oversize sunnie and handbag. Petals, crochet..and stars on my shoes…. I’m slowly getting used to the fact that it’s going to be fall and I’ll no longer get to be bare-legged. Oh, if only the holiday weekend could last longer and longer. I’ve got Neil Young playing as I’m trying to have a few relaxing moments before this extremely long week traveling. Once I’m back in NY, it’s right smack in the middle of the NYFW craziness, and I’m pretty excited to come back and party with my friends in town from all over the world. Till then, I’ll be on very little sleep!
