LIME GREEN EYES

Green may just be one of my favorite colors. I picked up an Urban Decay eyeshadow palette and felt like bringing back the 80’s with this lime green shimmer. It’s funny how something so simple and subtle can completely change my mood. That’s what I love about beauty. The ability to transform and lift your spirits with just a little swipe of color. Sometimes a girl just wants to have fun. On the day-to-day, I get stuck in my 5 minute makeup routine: I love my usual bronzed eye shadow and berry lip. This summer I am switching things up and digging into my overflowing beauty cabinets and experimenting with new color palettes I’ve never dipped my fingers into. For this look, I like to do a single pop and keep the rest of my face pretty bare.  I nixed my usual cat-eye liner to let the green really do its thing, and just added a touch of mascara, a peachy cheek, and nude pink lip. Talk about fresh! How are you playing with color this summer?

BECOMING A MERMAID FOR ANNA SUI FANTASIA

I got to become a mermaid for the launch of Anna Sui’s Fantasia Mermaid fragrance launch. Iridescent with a mix of sea foam green and blue. Dreamy. This is one fragrance that lets my imagination run wild all summer long and I had so much fun shooting this campaign by the water in my home of Dumbo, Brooklyn. Sweet, floral, and fruity, it’s made for waterfront picnics. I’m also featuring my top two favorite looks straight from the Anna Sui Spring 2019 Ready-to-Wear runway. This is one runway show that really makes my heart skip a beat. It’s always one of the very last shows during NYFW, and it takes me back to the 60’s. The music. The colors. The hair. Always rock n’ roll, mysterious, and eclectic. There’s no other designer like her and I think that’s what makes her an icon. Dylana and I have loved her for years and years as young girls and to now work with her and be a part of her vision is a dream. What an incredible journey! Our SUAREZ SISTERS for SEPHORA ad campaign is here and it was a huge success! Dylana and I are absolutely blown away by the amount of messages and pictures and videos you have sent us in front of the billboards. You’ll find our campaign for a little while longer at every store in the USA and Canada! It’s been an amazing run this past month. Every time I pass a Sephora, I see our faces!

All of your love, support, and enthusiasm has really put a smile on my face. Thank you, thank you for all the positive feedback. We are so so excited to be featured together in this national campaign! It is a dream come true to be a part of the Sephora family. And another major dream come true, is seeing ourselves on a massive billboard in Times Square! I still have to pinch myself. For this campaign, we bring to you all of Sephora’s “new and only at Sephora” exclusives. Talk about an amazing way to kick off 2019!
