A Haunting Stroll

I love when Dylana takes me around to all of her favorite cooky spots in Philly. I think she does get a kick out of trying to scare her little sissy! The morning was extremely gloomy, just about to storm for the entire day, and so we took an early stroll to the local cemetery before being hit by thunder and lightning. Dy’s always been saying “I’ve always wanted to shoot in a cemetery!” It was locked, leaving us peering in from the gates. I caught focus with old dolls…withered flowers…just about everything that could bring shivers up and down my back! It’s no secret… we’ve got a thing for hauntingly cool/weird things.  There’s that something about Philly, being one of the oldest city’s in America, that draws me to it, and always leaves me wondering. With giant messages graffitied everywhere I turn, I get more and more inspired every time I visit. I can’t wait for next weekend.

A Dark Flower

(Motel Rocks romper, MAKR backpack, Ax+Apple choker)
I’m up bright and early this Sunday morning for a shoot, when secretly, I could still be curled up in a tiny ball in bed. On a more typical weekend morning, I’m slowly getting ready after a late wake-up call, blasting tunes in my apartment, before making my way over to my secret spot over at the local park. A simple floral romper just makes life that much easier. One pieces, you’re effortless and I’ll always love you. With a dark plum lip, you can’t really go wrong now can you?

Sequins in Bed

Slipped into my Zoey’s newest designs and ended up barefoot in bed  for the latest Disco Pony lookbook shoot. Shooting in my apartment never gets old as my friends still believe is “the best little flat in the whole wide world!” I cannot even count how many times people have shot here…but it’s definitely brought along countless fun memories. Anyways, this new disco collection is my favorite. I love the slouchy fit of the updated “Natalie” gold dress, the bare backs, being able to drape just about as much jewelry I want down my spine. And come on, the All-American spin on the DISCO DISCO is the icing on the cake. Sequins in bed never looked so good.

Just a Blur

(Joie dress, Romwe star blouse, Feiyue sneakers, MAKR backpack, Vanessa Mooney choker and rings, Ax+Apple chain necklace, PinkLola beaded bracelets)
Wiping the sweat off my forehead, I could sit in the park all day, no matter the temperature. Being the only person in their right mind to wear a clean, crisp white dress to the park, I did end up keeping my bum clean by tying a starry shirt around my waist! I love these summer blurs. Bikes. Popsicle. Backpack. Sneakers. That’s kind of all you need. Sometimes it feels awesome to play tourist in your city for once.
