There’s something so brilliantly 70’s about Kork-Ease. Their iconic sandals have been a favorite of mine ever since I discovered the brand out here in Brooklyn, where the it all began back in 1953. When something’s been around that long, you know it’s great. They just collaborated with Free PeopleĀ in creating the Original and most iconic platform of the 70’s. We’re talking new heights! Made for those babes who live for vintage, collect their Dad’s old records, and would do anything for the perfect dancing shoe. Their new Heights platforms are 4 inches high, but believe me, they totally rock and are still comfortable. I love this fun new spin on the classic cork wedge sandal from Kork-Ease.
When I want to go extra wild, I’ll whip out the pink platforms, pair them with a polka-dot sock, and my sister’s crochet mini. Keep the prints pleasantly clashing if you really want to make a statement at the next disco house party down the block. I’ve always been a shoes girl, and a lot of my looks revolve around a pair that I’m dying to take out on the town. The funkier the better. Now isn’t this just one dream collab?! Happy to be one of the first girls on the block to own this collection.
