SHOT ON FILM FOR THE OMEGA TRESOR CAMPAIGN

Some things will always remain timeless. The OMEGA Tresor watch is one of them. I wanted to take you behind the scenes on one of my latest campaigns for OMEGA. The team flew in from Europe for our shoot with one vision in mind: to create beautiful black and white portraits with the best backdrop of all. . .New York City. Shot by by Christoph Schaller, we kept things classic and minimal. The mix of digital and raw filmmaking made for a stunning and cinematic little silent movie. Naturally, I chose to wear a bold sequin suit for this particular campaign. There’s something so special about a sequin suit. It works as a glamorous piece, yet also a tough-girl masculine, tomboy piece. I thought it would perfectly pop against our iconic set: a simple black backdrop in the middle of bustling Manhattan. OMEGA has mastered the art of creating classic meets contemporary timepieces. The Tresor collection for women stays true to the brand’s tradition in amazing Swiss made designs, with new details to inspire the next generation. How insane is the delicate row of glittering diamonds? You can see them only as you get really close and that’s what I love…a subtle luxury that still works for everyday wear. OMEGA is bringing this new modern woman into each and every one of their current black and white, iconic campaigns and I feel lucky to be a part of the movement.

ON SET FOR NICOLE MILLER RESORT 2019

This isn’t your typical campaign shoot, and it was certainly one to remember. Nicole Miller always takes the unconventional route when it comes to her campaign shoots and actually incorporated a full press day on the set, with publications like WWD and VOGUE coming in to capture their own content and stories as well!  We shot at Metal Shutter Houses, an art space in the heart of Chelsea. This space is a hub for creativity, with super high ceilings, freshly painted white walls and flooring, along with a stunning set of skylights, creating the most magnificent set of shadows to pose alongside. This collection pulled together eclectic and confusing styles that one wouldn’t expect, and made them work beautifully. Completely inspired by the eclectic and interesting mixes you’ll find on the cool girls of Manhattan. I love the chance to get into character during shoots like this. At the same time, I would completely wear these pieces on my own! That made it all the more fun. You can see there’s a little sporty element to each look. Think varsity socks paired with classic striped pajama-esque suits and flowing asymmetrical skirts. And you know me, I love a pop of color like jade and citrus along with a statement metallic piece to throw into any look. It’s the little elements of urban street style that made the collection really pop. Converse paired with brushstroke patterned cocktail dresses and flowing blouses with varsity striped leather pants made opposites attract. This collection felt refreshing and unique, giving me a few styling notes to take on myself (like taking a button up blouse and wearing it backwards). Bravo Nicole Miller, and thank you for having me as your muse this season.

& Other Stories LA Collection Part 2

Pink is certainly one of LA’s colors. The Barbie pink cars in our minds growing up as children of the westside. The pink streaks we always wanted in our hair for Halloween. The bubblegum pink nail polish we painted on at the back of class. The shade of my very first lipstick I stole from my mom’s cabinet. Pink is both rebellious and sweet. The & Other Stories LA collection featured ton of pink, and in every single tone and vibe.
