Modeling since the age of 15, Natalie Lim Suarez has been a notable figure in the fashion industry for years. Based in NYC, she is 1/2 Chinese, 1/4 Spanish, and 1/4 Mexican. With her passion for photography, creative direction, design, music, writing, modeling, and style, NATALIE OFF DUTY was born. Completely inspired by the "model off duty" on-the-go lifestyle. Sharing her stories, inspirations, and projects through her own photography and writing. Already noted for her winning fans in Harper's Bazaar UK, featured editorials in ELLE, and WWD for her "Good Taste." Along with campaigns and ambassadorships to top fashion and beauty brands from around the world. Some including COACH, DKNY, L'oreal Paris, Saks 5th Avenue, Sunglass Hut, Levis, and Nordstrom. Her eclectic, unique style has launched many successful design collaborations sold in top retailers around the world. Next to fashion, Natalie's other passion is music. Singing along with piano/guitar continue to pop up in her upcoming fashion campaigns.

I met the lovely and soft-spoken Georgia Larsen from London, on the set of my Free People October 2010 cover shoot back in the diz-ay. Can you believe how fast time flies? It was the first time any brand used real girls doing their own awesome s**t to model and style a total catalog. So the day of my shoot, I met a few awesome ladies like Georgia, a lingerie designer with long flowing blonde locks and killer bohemian style. Since then, she’s launched the beautifully chic brand, Dora Larsen…consisting of lace-y and feminine (without all the frills) lingerie sets complete with a choker. The choker a finishing touch to any dress you happen to throw on for a wild night out in the city. I totally have a soft spot for epic lingerie and pale pinks and blues. Always wear it for yourself. Love your body, no matter what shape or form. And own it. My boyish body has never felt more feminine.

For me, getting dressed really starts with my lingerie. I’m a sucker for romantic sets. The black lace bra. The floral white lace bodysuit. The silk of my powder pink robe. For spring, I’ve been leaning towards Natori lingerie. It’s classic, fits like a dream, and is just pure luxury. Even if i’m throwing on a loose tank and jeans, I still want my lingerie to feel sexy. So if it happens to peek on the side on my tank, it gives off a little mystery. “Now what was that bra she’s wearing?!” I’m always intrigued by what my friends are leaning towards every season. Sharing what bra we’re wearing is such a girl thing. It’s during the weekends that I like to get up really slowly and stay in my underwear. Sipping on coffee and reading a magazine before jumpstarting into the day. Especially on a rainy NYC day. Lingerie should feel personal and intimate. Lucky for me, I have no neighbors that can peer inside my windows.
