Just because it’s freezing out does not mean I cancel my plans! The holidays give me more reason to simply throw on a glamorous coat and go out! This Maximilian mink coat caught my eye with it’s stunning tie-dye pattern and retro fit as I was strolling through Bloomingdale’s…they seem to always have what I’m looking for. Right when I put it on I thought “must be a Maximilian.” I gave it a little vintage twist with a silk button-down, leather mini, and my favorite fishnet tights. A little downtown rock n’ roll mixed with a luxurious uptown feel. With the holidays, I play with a lot of yummy textures. This coat is so soft to touch, and so easy to throw on over a little party dress. The holidays are my time of year to wear everything in my closet that is really dramatic and beautiful! This is a look I want to strut down 5th Avenue in with my best friends before a good holiday cocktail. Soooo gossip girl.

New York City living is all about comfort. I LIVE in my shoes. When I get a new pair, I know that with all the walking I do, my shoes will hang onto their very last breath. Right now, I’m all about the classic leather slide-on mule…especially this one by Matisse that I picked up at the Bloomingdales 59th street store. The Clover. They’re edgy yet simple and go with just about everything. I’m already eyeing the leopard pair. Here I’m caught leaving Vinegar Hill House, one of my favorite brunch spots just on the border of my DUMBO neighborhood. Slide-ons are perfect for just that. Lazy walks to your favorite brunch spot. No socks required. Keeping things easy in black and white, but of course with a little hint of sparkle. Now, walk this way baby.
