80’S SPORT

// Adam Selman x Le Specs sunglasses, Prada bag, Cushnie top, Koral biking shorts //

This is one look to bike around Brooklyn in. The extra shiny short, a Koral original, and a pop of green, thanks to the Adam Selman x Le Specs sunglasses collaboration, are my sporty summer essentials. Made for a weekend sweat out in the park. I could see my parents rocking this in Santa Monica in the early 80’s. Everything skintight and shiny. Dare to get a little weird during your workouts these days and reflect off the sun as you run on by.

THE NOT SO SIMPLE MINI

// NO KA ‘OI dress, Reike Nen handbag, New Balance sneakers //

There is nothing ordinary about this little black dress. I like how it combines streetwear with athleisure, yet has a sexy and sleek approach. I love partnering up with NO KA ‘OI. The way the Italian label plays with cut-outs and interesting shapes is like a work of art. It hugs the body in all the right places. NYC is heating up these days. As things reopen, I’m slowly slipping into mini dresses with the ease of a sneaker. Who else is so happy to finally be leaving the house? I’m jumping for joy.

70’S INSPIRED ATHLEISURE | NO KA’ OI

I think I have the most fun when it comes to athleisure. NO KA’ OI mixes the spirit of Hawaii with incredible Italian-made design and quality. Here I am taking my nightly stretch in the most sick workout look I own. I’m in love with the 70’s inspired colors and stripes complete a futuristic, elegant touch. Check out that puffed sleeve and sleek silver shine. I don’t think you get more editorially high fashion when it comes to going to the gym. So brilliant. I might be home stretching out those sore muscles and doing yoga in my living room, but honestly, I can’t wait to take this top and style it up for fashion week. Who else thinks it’s a good idea?! I love when athleisure/workout gear can easily transform into something I can take to the street. NO KA’OI, you surprise me every single season.

THE INDIGO COLLECTION BY LUCY ACTIVEWEAR

IMG_9205

Lucy activewear is taking a whole new route this season, and just came out with a collection of denim-inspired workout wear called the indiGO collection. As a long lived denim lover, this is exciting. But it also strikes up a fashion challenge. Can denim and athleisure really work on the street? Well, I took the challenge and did exactly that, styling up two of my favorite Lucy pants. They are my new favorite pieces for running errands around my neighborhood, but I also love rocking them at the gym or in my yoga class. I love how multi-dimensional they are, because I can wear them literally anywhere. Drinks after my workout? I don’t need to change! Shopping before pilates? I’m all ready to make the dash to class in a hot second. Here are two ways to style these pieces. One more streamlined and casual. The other more edgy and street cool. Which look do you love more? I’m having so fun with my Lucy pieces. See ya later, running to my barre class in them!
