Yep, I haven’t really had a vacation this summer, but I’ve made the most of my on/off duty days. Whether it be piggy backing through the city or picking up inspiration at the local thrift stores, my pals and I can spend hours out and about every weekend. I’m forever on a hunt for mini-mini dresses and cool band tees. But being on set in fall wardrobe has got me back into those grungy beanies, nubby sweaters, and long skirts. It’s no surprise to find me bouncing around the city after work with big, messy locks. Ahhhhh, New York, you really do rock, but I’m still planning a mini-escape! London and Paris are calling my name this September after fashion week. Flights are booked and I can’t wait. Who knows, maybe I’ll gain a little accent along the way.

I’m a bit too tall for this Lovers and Friend’s dress, and so threw on my lightest wash of denim cut-offs to wear it as a tunic. A super sweet surprise gift from Rad+Refined, it’s a piece straight out of their latest lookbook I shot back in Chicago. I’m diggin the “barely there” cut-out tanks for long days out  in the heat. My hair’s always thrown back in a messy bun and I stuff everything I need for a weekend getaway in a backpack. And of course, I haven’t gone anywhere this summer without my JETT boots. Now that they are finally released and for sale, I can now show you how I’ve been wearing them. We’ve already got many orders, and so they’re here in the factory getting handmade daily. Dy and I are dying to see images of our readers wearing them in their own way! Dressing up these babies in the fall is going to be even better. I can hardly wait. HAPPY WEEKEND!

Our classic black Jett boot is a pair I reach to nearly every morning. Even in the summer, I rock a pair of boots! But fall is coming, and it’s time to whip out all the JETT colors…I just got a pair of sunshine yellow made for myself. Gotta admit, they came out pretty rad. These are the boots you find yourself re-soling after many years of wear…you love them too much. Treat em right and they’ll live on forever! Dylana and I took our happy feet through the lower east side, pairing our JETT’s with anything from long flowing maxi’s and short vintage mini’s. I couldn’t be happier with our boot. They’re like my babies and I want to live in them forever and ever.
