NYFW kicked off at the CHANEL Lucky Chance Diner in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It was a retro pastel pink CHANEL wonderland of milkshakes, french fries, and the entire Lucky Chance fragrance collection. I love any reason to whip out the sparkles and get playful with one of my favorite luxury fashion houses. I hope you enjoy this blast from the past, back to the 1950’s, one of the most iconic decades.

SUMMERS AT THE ST. REGIS BAHIA BEACH RESORT

A girls getaway to the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort was the best last-minute plan. Sometimes you just crave a little sea salt and sun on your skin. We dined, we got massages at the spa, we played tennis, and spent hours by the pool. It’s a property you really never have to leave. It’s that good. There was so much nature around us, and so much to explore just by bike. I love any trip where the foundation of our wardrobe was a swimsuit. Rain or shine, summers in Puerto Rico are incredible and I miss this little vacation so much.

I love how there is a dark femininity to these beautiful designs by a NYC designer, Mereurt Tolegen. The collection is romantic, with a lot of bows, yet each look definitely has it’s cool downtown city girl edge that I totally love. The use of mixed media in each design is really a work of art. I took these looks to the park and styled them with my favorite combination at the moment, a patent black ballet shoe and white sock. I like unleashing my inner ballerina.
