There really is something about CULOTTES. I fell in love with this transitional cut. Theonne, nailing their’s simply with a wool plaid print. Sadly, as the NYC heats hits upon me, I’m going to have to switch this pair up for something a little more breathable, like silk or cotton. I found myself this past February fashion week, having a Zimmermann GAUCHO moment. Nope, they were simply CULOTTES. A much better word for them. The vintage print gives this high-fashion a bit of that effortless, WEAR THEM EVERDAY, kind of vibe. I like em’ best with classic slip-on. Hello new VANS! And an oversize knit. My weekend’s truly are all about oversize EVERYTHING. But teeny tiny sunglasses. It’s Monday, and honestly, I’m excited for some super fun travels coming up. BUCKLE UP LADIES.

I’m constantly looking for the perfect summer dream house. I’ve already got a small list of weekend destinations ahead, but we’re still constantly on the look out for the coolest, hidden little abode out east. I’m thinking bohemain shaggy rugs, tikis, and wooden plank floors. Open white on white kitchen and ocean views?! Yes, please. There’s always gotta be a place for my bike. My white beach cruiser has been locked up in the basement a little too long, constantly reminding me of why I need to get outside more. Rain or shine, I’ll be prepared in wellies or my favorite leather slides. With a feather plucked in my hat, I have my wrinkled blue jeans bundled in my carry-all, and I save the freudian silk dresses for the hot hot nights dancing out by the fire. We’re talking glistening sweat on our foreheads, FUN.

Though the rest of my closet has slowly narrowed down the rows and rows of floral vintage dresses that have lived in my closet (I was definitely a vintage hoarder!), I’m still all about the PRINT ON PRINT, but in a totally different way. Jennyfer, giving the pastel floral trend some major freshness. Yes, I love my garden party, but I always have to edge it up. I used to cut my floral vintage maxi dresses into mini’s, and use the excess fabric as a headband or scarf. Florals will never go out of style, trust me. My trusty VEDA leather jacket always giving my GIRL POWER flower obsession a bit more worn-in love. Luckily, I’m continuing to minimalize my wardrobe. Though I love the statement piece, I’m still desperately seeking out the perfect basics.

With that, I’m gearing up for a much needed MEMORIAL DAY looong weekend. Biking and picnics in the park on my current agenda. Lately, I feel I’ve been non-stop, so I can’t wait to sit back and just soak in the NYC sun. No more going out with smudged EYELINER on from yesterday’s shoot! So many cool and exciting things are happening, and I can’t wait to spill the beans.  Oh, and did I mention Stockholm and Berlin?! I can officially say my travel plans are BOOKED.
