Though the rest of my closet has slowly narrowed down the rows and rows of floral vintage dresses that have lived in my closet (I was definitely a vintage hoarder!), I’m still all about the PRINT ON PRINT, but in a totally different way. Jennyfer, giving the pastel floral trend some major freshness. Yes, I love my garden party, but I always have to edge it up. I used to cut my floral vintage maxi dresses into mini’s, and use the excess fabric as a headband or scarf. Florals will never go out of style, trust me. My trusty VEDA leather jacket always giving my GIRL POWER flower obsession a bit more worn-in love. Luckily, I’m continuing to minimalize my wardrobe. Though I love the statement piece, I’m still desperately seeking out the perfect basics.

With that, I’m gearing up for a much needed MEMORIAL DAY looong weekend. Biking and picnics in the park on my current agenda. Lately, I feel I’ve been non-stop, so I can’t wait to sit back and just soak in the NYC sun. No more going out with smudged EYELINER on from yesterday’s shoot! So many cool and exciting things are happening, and I can’t wait to spill the beans.  Oh, and did I mention Stockholm and Berlin?! I can officially say my travel plans are BOOKED.

Lately, I’ve been all about the WHITE ON WHITE. H&M, killing it in that department. White on white in the Hamptons? CHECK. White on white at the meeting? CHECK. White on white at the park? TRIPLE CHECK. A frilly little skirt, and sheer tank, topped off with some KILLER red shades for that much needed POP. It sure is a super cute girly number, but still allows me to hit the field with the boys. I may spend a day this weekend roadtripping out of the city, or here at home, kicking it in the Lower East Side, remembering our veterans. My holiday weekend plans are forever changing but at least, I’ve got my looks down pat.

PLAY BALL!! The leather skirt is making a major comeback in my life…along with stripes and trench coats. The classics. I’m constantly throwing out pieces in my wardrobe, and replenishing it with the fresh basics that I only just realized I didn’t have. Yes, I’m normally a statement piece type of girl. Oh, and sandals. Something I’m rarely in. It’s getting so hot that I kind of have to slip into these badboys. They’re like BIRKS, but 10x more comfortable. Best for sunny days down in Chinatown at the local football field. Black and white stripes, burgundy, and navy blue. Talk about one of my absolute favorite combinations. Take me back to this moment PLEASE.
