I just spent the other night scouring the brand new H&M 5th Avenue Flagship store at 48th street before anyone else! Celebating with Mr. Jeff Koons himself at the pre-opening party, I found myself on the 5th floor…overlooking all of the craziness. It is by far, my favorite, and one of the most incredible Flagships I’ve seen in a long time. Talk about a wild shopping experience.

It’s about time I introduce you to the new H&M Style Advisor Service that has just launched at this H&M Flagship location here in NYC! The service gives customers a tailored, personal shopping experience! You can call in, or email to make an appointment! H&M will chat with you on what need! It could be a color, a silhouette, your likes and dislikes on fit and style. From there, the H&M personal stylists will pre-select items from the store, take them to the Personal Shop Lounge, and have them ready and set for you in the designated fitting room. Once you arrive, the stylist will work with you until your needs are met! We’re talkin’ a good 30 minute to 2 hour fitting! (Bring a group of friends…for longer hours!)  It’s just what I need when I’m in a hurry before an event. Call in the polka-dot dress, and super cute KOONS x H&M handbags please!! Because the store is so large, it’s almost a necessity. I love a good helping hand. In the Personal Shop Lounge, they will assist in your item’s fit, and assist you in minor tailoring you need in your garments. 

The H&M Style Advisor Service will keep tabs on what you like, and will curate a collection on what you like, giving you a head to toe look that’s truly your own. 

Now, I can’t wait for my next H&M flagship store visit.

There are SO SO many things I love about roadtrips. Singing in the Jeep with the top down. The hot sun making your squint. Tearing off your normal clothing to throw on nothing but a kimono and your favorite wrinkled wide-leg pants. These snapshots were taken by my sister Dylana on the road through Connecticut, on a quiet, woodsy street corner. The green so refreshing and beautiful. I think I’ve found the word for all of this. SOLITUDE. Roadtrips will give you that much-needed feeling.

After days of working on set, and being thrown into hair and makeup…there are times when I literally get up, toss my hair in a loose bun and wear absolutely no makeup in rebellion. These are my days to refresh, and wear anything that I want. This time, I went for something super ecclectic. I’ve always wanted to sport this gorgeous tulle skirt by Alexandra Grecco, but haven’t had the moment to wear it, until now. I went the black and white route with it…giving it a city vibe in my favorite sporty sweater (yes, it actually spells “shiiiiiiiiiiit” across the entire front. Thanks to my sister who pointed it out…making me love this sweatshirt even more). And with perfect black and white brogues…the most superb shoe for dancing. It may not be your typical dancing look, but I sure felt like a lot more like a BALLERINA OFF DUTY. Ya know, just trading in your pointe shoes, and leotard for your streeteasy favorites.

I’m currently expanding my lingerie collection, and I’ve fallen madely in love with Gooseberry Intimates, amongst many! This white lace underwire bodysuit is just the right piece to wear under a dress or alone…for the night. I stick to the basics when it comes to my intimates. The beautiful and luxurious basics of course. I like this white demi with my vintage Versace black shorts for a lazy weekend…. on a hot, rainy day in.
