LIE SANG BONG S/S 17 for VOGUE KOREA

Dylana and I fell in love with Korean designers after visiting Seoul Fashion Week over a year ago. Luckily, there’s a bit of Korean fashion here in NYC with the lovely LIE SANG BONG. Known for his classic silhouettes but extremely beautiful prints. The S/S ’17 collection is inspired by chaekagdo: still-life paintings that were popular during the latter part of the Joseon dynasty. The paintings would feature bookshelves and the personal effects that are placed in and on them — reflecting the lifestyle of scholars and their high regard for knowledge and virtue. The collection was inspired by the images graphic prints and bold colors. How sick is this set? Dylana and I took part in their NYFW look book, featured in VOGUE KOREA.

Take a peek inside my & Other Stories A/W ’16 campaign shoot in Paris. LA ROMANCE NOSTALGIA. Lace. Layers. Paris. Things and one place in particular that exudes beauty and mystery. The new fall collection from & Other Stories has a touch of rich bohemian. Little dresses that remind me of some vintage items I’ve found in the past. High Victorian necklines with decadent chokers and dangling earrings. Over-the-knee boots to die for. Here we are from our fitting at their beautiful Paris Atelier with our stylist. With a classic color palette of burgundy, white, black, and dusty rose, our options for looks seemed endless. I couldn’t stop trying everything on. The shoot came out just as I imagined. French at it’s best with my own eclectic touch.

After wrapping up our campaign shoot, I made sure to grab this lace top to take back home. Already I’ve worn it a million different ways. Under dresses, under button-ups, or simply on it’s own. Paris, you inspire me with every visit.

The way NYC sparkles will never get old to me. Hiding in the dark corridors of Tribeca. The excitement of crossing the bridge and sticking my head out the window. Letting your hair flow. NYC is glamorous in the most simple form, if you let it be. Just close your eyes and listen. Shoes clacking down the cobblestone streets. The buzz of traffic. Chaos in the bars. Even more exciting when Etro surprises you one afternoon with the most perfect dress for a very special extravaganza. I fell in love with this special silk gown the moment it arrived, straight off the Etro runway. The plaid print intertwined with a beautiful twist of exotic flowers. Not to mention that very unexpected peek of skin on the back. It’s a delicate way to bring some punk to everything glam. Sometimes you want to embrace your feminine side with a dress that hugs you in all the right places. Forget everything else, and let the city take you into the night.

Owning a little black dress is necessary. And especially in Paris. I like it with nothing but a swipe of black eyeliner (I swear by Lancome’s Grandoise Liquid liner) and a messy top knot. Oh, don’t forget the earrings. It’s so sexy in a completely classic, Old Hollywood way. Paris always makes me feel like I’ve just stepped into Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. I love the the attitude and style from the film. It glows. These photos were shot during Paris’s heat wave. All I wanted to do was crack open the window and peep down onto the city streets of Le Marais. The sweat glistening on everyone’s faces.
