WHAT I PACKED FOR BUDAPEST FASHION WEEK

This is what I packed for Budapest Central European Fashion Week. Metallic suiting. Lace jumpsuits. Ribbed dresses. Tailored Sets. Super luxurious eveningwear. The trip began by pulling up to the very beautiful Botaniq Castle in Tura, Hungary as it started snowing. It felt like a scene from a movie. I’m in love with the blue carpeting and draping in my room. This castle turned hotel was the perfect place to decompress after the long flight before a full weekend of runway shows and presentations. To prepare for a very busy weekend, the team and I spent a lot of time in the spa. From there, we made our way to Verno House in the central city, our home base for the fashion week. It was incredible to see both the old and new Budapest with both locations. I was so inspired by all the architecture. Verno House is modern and sleek and right smack in the middle of the city. We had back to back shows that honestly felt like a party…they were so fun. It was definitely a breath of fresh air! I have a few Budapest Fashion Week favorites: Cukovy for super chic winter après ski looks and AERON for everyday city essentials made with incredible fabrics. I am so grateful for this very unique experience. I can’t wait to revisit this part of the world one day.

NYC TO LONDON! HENNESSY X.O X KIM JONES

// Preen sequin dress. Rosario feather dress. By Far mule. Malone Souliers velvet pump. Fendi handbag //

These past few weeks have been a total Hennessy X.O x Kim Jones celebration! What began as a very intimate and chic dinner and jazz night at the Aman New York turned into a last-minute trip to London, the hometown of creative director to Fendi and Dior Mens, Kim Jones. I packed up my suitcase with sequin and feathers, naturally. This very special Hennessy bottle is a work of art, dripped in a gold casing that feels tapped into the future. There was even a robot pouring drinks at the bar of the Battersea Arts Center! It was all very surreal. London is one of my favorite cities and it was amazing to be back to see old friends, eat the best classically British chicken pot pie I’ve ever had at Kettner’s, and have some quality sister time. Our stay at the London EDITION was so amazing, we hardly had to leave the hotel. I cannot wait to hop over the pond again soon.

AWAY AT EASTWIND OLIVEREA VALLEY

// Maison Asia pillbox hat, Forte Forte sweater, Tu Lize coat, Parisa Wang tweed blazer, rag & bone jeans, Charles and Keith slingback pump //

I have fallen in love with the interiors and beautiful architecture at the new Eastwind Hotel, Oliverea Valley. It’s chic, modern, and extremely cozy. Winter may be over and the days may be longer, but it’s still chilly enough to cuddle up in great knitwear. Packing up the car and heading upstate is something we try to do every season if we can. It’s the perfect place to read, make s’mores, and enjoy the incredible food at Dandelion, the hotel’s amazing new restaurant. This was a very luxurious way to spend a couple of days tucked away in the mountains with a good book and a glass of red wine. Sharing these relaxing moments with my family is a dream come true. This little getaway was just what we needed before kicking off another busy Spring.
