I’m super picky with my denim…they’ve got to fit nicely on the bum, and of course, they’ve got to be comfortable enough to move and dance in. This gorgeous pair by American Eagle fit like a glove and literally felt so, so soft. I wore this exact jean in our American Eagle #rockyourwalk denim runway video, and also to our huge launch party…because I just loved them so much. For the big night, I layered this amazing AE embroidered patchwork jacket and paisley printed blouse to go along with it. The colors of the jacket remind me of those vintage patchwork blankets my mum would spread across our beds. Too gorgeous for words. I’ll be slipping into this baby as we sneak into fall, no doubt. For the AE video, my strut was “The Gypsy Jump”…clutching on my hat, my kimono flying in the air as I jumped across 3rd street in my distressed denim and red boots. It’s summer and my skin is slathered in sunscreen, forever giving me that glisten across my cheeks. It’s nearly halfway through summer and I don’t want it to end. I like stepping outside and being hit by that warmth. There’s still so much summer to experience. So far, it’s been all Barcelona, Paris…soon, LA! and though it’s been filled with work…my short weekends are for catching up with everyone I love. Time in NYC flies faster than anywhere in the world from what I know. It was just before the sun was setting that I met up with Dylana after work (how rad is it that Dy is in NYC?!) before a dinner extravaganza in the West Village. Along with my pop of blue nail polish, I had on this stunning two piece set from Reformation. I picked up this beauty at their gorgeous Soho store, and fell in love with the floral blue and purple print. It’s like a slap in the face to all those neutral summer get-ups. The city seems to be revolving around the little crop tops and BELLIES, just about found on every corner of the city. Oh, and meet my new friend. This lil’ handbag is made by my gal pal, Aimee Kestenberg! Also part of my boyfriend’s The Adoni Group, I see her all the time around the office where we make our JETTS. I love sneaking in and seeing her latest creations randomly throughout the week. Anyways, today is dedicated to electric, electric BLUE and I’ve got a full day in and out of the factory. You guys have made everyday more and more exciting for us…from our JETTS to now, seen here, our CHLOES BOOTS. I cannot thank each and everyone one of you for all the constant love and feedback! Can’t wait to share more of what I’ve got in store.
