The bootcut is coming back full swing thanks to 7 For All Mankind and I’m so excited for a brand new fit: the High Waist Vintage Bootcut. Perfectly sitting high on your waist, with a little bit more flare than the average bootcut. I’m loving everything about this major 70’s comeback. Where blue denim ruled and everything revolved around fun shapes and wild proportions. I’m such a denim girl through and through. Nothing feels more sexy than slipping into your favorite, most flattering pair of jeans. Though my drawers are toppling over with black skinnies, raw hems, and other insane denim…this exaggerated bootcut remains a classic and adds a more sophisticated touch. Spring for me really is all about finding the perfect jean to live in day after day, wash after wash. Something to wear for a walk in the park, to dance in at a gig, and still be able to shimmy into early again the next morning. Experimenting with new and unexpected shapes. Because nothing we do, including what we wear, should be just plain and simple. Take your distressed denim jacket and wear it as your favorite top. Shake it up.

I am way too short to rock the flare jeans without some high high heels and too lazy to actually wear high heels! But I will applaud any woman who does rock the flare and just sit in my corner and wear my skinnies.

I really enjoy how you put this outfit together! You made me more interested in boot cut jeans as well. From looking at your style, you would absolutely love this place named Fixate Boutique! You go for the same kind of sense of fashion you should definitely go give them a look at http://www.fixateboutique.com
