Kenny Clothes Holiday + Resort ’12 Campaign Film

Here I am, in the latest Kenny Clothes Holiday + Resort ’12 campaign! Shot in the California desert, in La Quinta, it may be one of my absolute favorite photoshoots to date. Being an LA native, it just felt like home. Barefoot, dancing in the sand, climbing mountains. This shoot truly was a magical day, just as it looks here on film. My favorite moment? Meeting a beautiful white horse just as the sun was going down, right as we were shooting the white mini-dress of the collection. Matching, it made for incredible pictures as I took him for a walk, clutching on his rope. It had to have been a good omen. Even the designer, Lindsay, believed it was. And she’s right. Nothing could have been more perfect about this campaign. The beautiful clothing, the dry desert heat…it’s everything I see when I dream, all put together in this short film. I’m just happy I got to be a part of it all. I miss you California soo much, I’m proud to be your baby.
I cannot wait to show you the campaign images, but for now, here is the Kenny Clothes film, shot by Ben Bloom.

Natalie Off Duty for Photogenics

(Minimarket sweater from Joa+Closet, Vintage Levi’s, Stela 9 bag)
Yep, yep, I’m now a new contributor to my mother agency, Photogenics! I’ll be giving you an even closer look into the world of modeling…on/off duty…and everything else in between. They’re kind of the reason “Natalie Off Duty” is even here. From a working young teen till now, I’m sharing my story.
You can see more inside my introductory post here: American Woman.

JETT Fever

It honestly feels like JETT fever has just only begun. Yep, we’ve been seeing the
“Natalie + Dylana Suarez x Modern Vice” JETT boot just about everywhere this season. Our boot has made it’s way to being featured on rows of models during NYFW at the Kotoba presenation, to completing the looks of just about every star blogger we know and love. But most importantly, getting daily Instagram snaps from our readers in their own pairs makes everything we do worth while. There may just be a JETT in about every continent now! I took my black pair to Paris, and it was the best decision ever. The more I wear them, the better they feel. It’s crazy how many different ways I’ve worn them…from summer days with tiny denim dresses, to chilly night in NYC with tights and a coat. Anywhere I take them, I like them a bit scuffed around the edges. Right now, Dylana and I are back at the Modern Vice factory here in NYC, working our next boot…it’s called the BENNI. We just shot the campaign, and we’re just about ready to launch our next boot! BENNI… Benniiii and the JETT. I can hardly wait to show you our next beautiful shoe.

British Bandmates

(Vintage sweater, White + Warren cargo jacket, Free People “Brunch Date” dress, Dr. Martens boots, Rebecca Minkoff camera bag and handbag)

And I’m taking you back for a little London lovin’. London is one of my all time favorite cities, and I cannot wait for my next visit. I did just get some exciting news on my next travels though! But more on that next time. Here, Dylana and I were walking up to Primrose Hill…going ga-ga over it’s poshness. Can a place be any more beautiful and calm? I was honestly just hoping for a Kate Moss spotting (bullocks!) Anyways, we ran into these adorable little Primrose boys along the way. They had their hat out filled with pounds and everything! And yep, they were jamming just as if they were the little Beatles themselves. They made we want to be a kid again. I miss those days when it was totally acceptable to do silly things behind your parents backs just for the sake of doing it. Not that I still don’t. They were squinting in the sun and playing their un-plugged electric guitars as I snapped away. It was a perfect and random morning on Primrose Hill. London…and music…the best combination in the whole world.
